The cover seems to be high quality. It's weakest point is the latches. To release the latches on both sides you pull a cord. The latches are spring loaded and rely on these springs to return them to the locked position. Sometimes the latches stick in the unlocked position. When the do it is very difficult to get them to return. Read the directions carefully including any loose sheets. A variety of shims maybe required for your application.

I like the G2. It wasn't so bad installing by myself. When clamping rails, instructions are geared towards short beds, not my long bed. Also, BakFlips quality personnel need a refresher course in the items required for installation. I got 1 screw instead of required 4 for the clips that mount up front the straps hook into, and I got an extra bag of bolts to hold the cover to the rails.

Installed fairly easily, fit well but after 6 weeks two rivets broke on the piece that holds the cable and I take care on how I operate. I am disappointed because it was a pricey cover to have this happen so soon.

Went on without any problems. installation took about 40 minutes. Works great. The only problem I have had is a small leak in the rear at the tailgate. When it rains I get a small amount of water in the bed.

I'm very impressed with this cover as far as quality and looks and how it was pakaged for shipment. It has keeped the bed dry. I was a little disapointed that the they didn't account for the front to back curve on my truck and the clamps would not hold the rails down in the rear. I ended out putting a screw in the rail to hold it in place and it works fine now. Great cover for the money.
