The install was very easy, and the instructions were well thought out. The quality of everything is great too. Im very surprised at how well it seals out water too.

The bottom "bar" that is suppose to latch to the top is too low. The bar underneath is not taught enough to have the latch on the top grab it properly. You have to reach in and push the lower bar up so that it engages, poor design. I really like the balance of the cover, but would not recommend the "front opening duel".

The Deuce Tonneau cover is a nice looking cover, but as I have owned the original Truxedo cover, this one is not near as sturdy as the original. I have had issues with the back lock down plate bowing upwards and not sealing very well to the tailgate due to the tightness of the cover. I have loosened all adjusting nuts, as the directions state, to try and get the tonneau to sit down better but to no avail. The original cover had a more solid bar that went across the back of the truck and made a better seal to the tailgate. Also due to the tightness of the cover, the front section is difficult to close requiring several slams before it latches.

As noted by most reviews I read before purchase the instructions need improvement. The biggest problem for my 2009 Silverado was that my hardware included four sets of clamps made to fit into the factory drilled holes on the inside of the bed of which there are only two at the rear (the instructions showed these clamps at the front and rear). So I needed improvise and make the installation with three clamps on each side versus the four shown. After the trial and error process it fits well and looks good; and I'm very pleased with the cover.

The Deuce fits great on the 09 Silverado. I have side bed caps, and it wasn't a problem. Comes with plenty of material to make it waterproof, and instructions are easy. Can be installed by yourself, but it's easier with a helper. It seems to be a lower profile than the regular Truxedo. It's pretty nice to be able to open the back and get tools out without having to roll the whole cover up.

Installation went smooth. I have Putco SS bed caps installed and although the web site said it would not fit with SS bed caps I had no problems with installation. Took about an hour total time. recommend using C-clamps or a helper to hold everything in alignment when installing the Truxedo clamp hardware.
