Only had the cover on for a week, but it seems to be made well. The front access was the major selling point. I will wait on final judgment until I have had it for a while.

New truck for me. The front latching mechanism is different than the original. This has "serrated" Pegs that latch into each rail to eliminate the bar with 1 latch in the middle design the original deuce had. Only grip is when closing the drivers side you have to give it some oomph to close the opposite latch so it seals tight enough to keep the elements out. The plus side is that you can now remove the cover roll and utilize all space in the bed. Overall same great quality and looks great!

I would recommend the Truxedo Deuce 2 to anyone looking for a great functional cover for their truck bed! Hands down the best cover I have ever owned!

I own a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab with the short bed. While, the instructions are less than to be desired, my buddy and I successfully installed the cover in about an hour and a half. First drive was from Little Rock to Fort Worth through two rain storms. No leakage and no discernible noise whatsoever. Gas mileage was about the same to maybe a very slight improvement. I highly recommend this product!

The cover does not fit so great, I need less tension on it but already have it at the least tension possible. Perhaps I need to drill out the slots in the crossbar a little, but seems silly that the manufacturer did not allow for more wiggle room on the tension control mechanism. The hinge for the flip needed to be siliconed to prevent rain from leaking in, and every time you flip it open you need to make sure that the rubber from the bottom rail is not "pinched" under the moving hinge piece. Alsom, the left rail is shorter than the right rail. I would not reccomend this cover.
