The set up of the cover was easy, but unfortunately, the cover does not close all the way. There is a large gap at the bottom, where the truck bed opens. Also, the middle of the cover doesn't lay flat. We took 30 minutes to make sure we installed it correctly, but unfortunately it isn't a secure cover. It looks nice for the most part, but because the cover doesn't lay flat it looks cheap.

I chose this versus the Extang Tri-Fold which I had on my previous truck, trying to save a little money. While it looks and fits nice, it is quite inferior to the Extang. The release handles used to open the cover are extremely flimsy and the aluminum panels underneath the vinyl are very thin. I think it will struggle to bear a good snow load..we will see. It's a classic case of "you get what you pay for". While it's pretty nice, it's no Extang. If I had to do it over I'd spend the extra money.

The cover fits, but it is so tight in the seams that even after 10 days in the sun it does not lay flat. When trying to tighten the rear latches to close the gap, the cheap plastic and thin metal cross beams flex to the point of nearly breaking. Since it does not lay flat over the back of the tailgate, there is a gap that could easily be pried open with a small tool or fingers. Basically, a waste of money if security is what you are looking for. will now cost double to get what I need.

Very happy with the cover. I bought it to replace a soft Tri-Fold. I wanted more security for my cargo. Very happy with the HardFold cover. Easy to install and seems to fit well. So far no leaks and we have had some hard rain. I do like the rubber flap at the front. That is where my old cover always leaked, this seems to have solved that problem. Heavier than I expacted, but that's ok.

I really wanted to like this cover but it had plastic under the aluminum frame cousing bubbles under the cover fix it it will not close flat at the hinges. it does not fit well on a 2014 f150 it a new truck with 400 mile on the back of the coversticks out on both side by tail gate. the plastic lock down don't work well on the f150 it hit the plstic bed cap not the metal bed all in all I would waste my money on it again I will replace it with a better cover IT ABOUT A $200.00 COVER
