"Installed fairly easily. I had to trim side rails at front to make it fit together." —Oscar W from Wyomissing, PA bought a TruXedo TruXport Roll-Up Tonneau Cover for a 2008 Chevy Silverado.
"I installed this on a 2008 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab truck. The fit was good but it could be better if it was 1/4 inch longer to cover the tailgate more. I had to add a piece of foam insulation to front header since I have bed rail caps on the sides.(this was suggested by the instructions) Installation was easy and the operation is as easy as advertised. I have not driven the truck in heavy rain yet but the truck bed remained dry in the rain storm we did have since installation." —Patrick S from West Chester, PA bought a TruXedo TruXport Roll-Up Tonneau Cover for a 2008 Chevy Silverado.
"This cover was installed in about 15 minutes and it looks very nice. The value of this cover is better than most. The only downfall is the cover is flat, and it has two ribs that support the center. I noticed when it rains and your truck has been parked for a while, the water will puddle up in the center of your cover, so far that has not created a problem." —George H from Corinth, TX bought a TruXedo TruXport Roll-Up Tonneau Cover for a 2008 Chevy Silverado.
"Life is good, because I was able to save money on my tonneau cover at AutoAnything. The cover went on with ease and looks good. Now I'm saving money on gas. Yes life is good! I'm saving up for a side step, so I'll be back." —Tom S from Lakeland, FL bought an Extang BlackMax Tonneau Cover for a 2008 Chevy Silverado.
"This is the second Truxedo tonneau cover I have owned, and they have both been economical options for keeping the weather out of the truckbed, while neatly stowing out of the way to haul bigger loads. Installation was straightforward, and my only concern is that the tensioning mechanisms and lockdown bar do not function as smoothly as they did on my first cover - the tailgate needs to be down in order to completely lock it into position." —Ryan L from Lolo, MT bought a TruXedo TruXport Roll-Up Tonneau Cover for a 2008 Chevy Silverado.
"The Deuce Tonneau cover is a nice looking cover, but as I have owned the original Truxedo cover, this one is not near as sturdy as the original. I have had issues with the back lock down plate bowing upwards and not sealing very well to the tailgate due to the tightness of the cover. I have loosened all adjusting nuts, as the directions state, to try and get the tonneau to sit down better but to no avail. The original cover had a more solid bar that went across the back of the truck and made a better seal to the tailgate. Also due to the tightness of the cover, the front section is difficult to close requiring several slams before it latches." —Don A from Renton, WA bought a TruXedo Deuce 2 Tonneau Cover for a 2008 Chevy Silverado.
"This is the second Truxedo that I have owned. Prior to it I owned the cover with the snaps down the side and back. I hated that style. To get to items in front of the bed I had to undo 50 or so snaps and none of them were easy. During the winter the cover shrinks and it was impossible to stretch the cover to snap it down. I would end up crawling under the cover to avoid opening it. Now the Truxedo... It opens and closes in seconds and the velcro holds perfect. It is a fantastic design and I would recommend it without a doubt. The older truxedo on my Colorado did allow some water it but it was not thru the velcro. I think it got by the side rails but the Lo Pro QT on my Silverado has a seal and I hope will not allow water to get in. It was very small amounts and I had not problem putting luggage in the bed during rain. Again I love the Truxedo." —William D from Centreville, VA bought a TruXedo Lo Pro QT Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover for a 2008 Chevy Silverado.
"Bought for 2008 Silverado LTZ Crew Cab Short bed. Good cover for the price. Initial installation was not easy. Took roughly one hour. Temp was 45 degrees. Recommend heating the cover indoors first to help with stretch factor. Used a clamp and removed rear bow to stretch. Replaced rear bow after installed. Cover is easier to install now that it has stretched a bit." —Mickey R from Spanaway, WA bought an Extang TuffTonno Peel & Seal Roll Up Tonneau Cover for a 2008 Chevy Silverado.
"This is the second truck I've fitted with the Access Literider rollpup tonneau. That's because they perform they way there're advertised. I installed it myself. It's easy to do and the instructions are straight forward. A great product." —Dale S from El Paso, TX bought an Access Literider Roll-Up Tonneau Cover for a 2008 Chevy Silverado, 1500, 5' 8" short bed.
"EXCELLENT VALUE AND WARRANTY. VERY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER. JUST SHOULD HAVE A QUICK DISCONNECT FOR TAILGATE END TO ACCESS BED" —Robert D G from Mexico, ME bought a Lund Genesis Seal & Peel Tonneau Cover for a 2008 Chevy Silverado, 8' long bed.
"This is the third one I've had on 3 different trucks. Trade in trucks and get new ones for new truck. I keep the trucks for about 3 to 4 years and they still look nice, not tore up or coming apart snaps are still in good shape, cover is tight." —David E from Olathe, KS bought an Extang Classic Platinum Original Snap Style Roll Up Tonneau Cover for a 2008 Chevy Silverado.
