"I recently purchased the PE cover. It looks sharp and went on with little hitch. I did enlist the help of someone that used to install these for a living a few years back. He told me that of the ones out there that the PE was the most difficult to install, but overall had the least customer complaints.
The cover looks good and seems at this point to work well. By buying online I saved about $300 over the price of buying local." —Michael B from Glendale, AZ bought a Pace Edwards JackRabbit Tonneau Cover for a 2006 Chevy Silverado.
"I am so far satisfied by the tonneau cover I purchased. The installation was much easier than I had read in a couple of reviews. The system seems to be sturdy in structure. I just hope it last as long as I have my truck." —Cameron S from Phoenix, AZ bought a Pace Edwards JackRabbit Tonneau Cover for a 2006 Chevy Silverado.
"Very easy to install. I gain 2 miles a gallon on gas. It looks really sharp." —Garland M from Fort Stockton, TX bought a Pace Edwards JackRabbit Tonneau Cover for a 2006 Chevy Silverado.
"The cover was easy to install and it looks great to, it is everything they say it is." —Richard G from Buffalo, IA bought a Pace Edwards Full Metal JackRabbit Tonneau Cover for a 2006 Chevy Silverado.
"I purchased a PE cover for my 2006 Chevy Silverado the first time in April of 2006. I had someone install it for me since I had heard so many problems with the instructions and everything. The product worked well and after 114,000 miles on the truck and someone trying to break into it I ended up replacing the cover. Along the 6 years the cord to pull the cover closed broke, the lock broke, 2 panels of aluminum broke, however the cover did perform well for what I wanted which was simply a cover for my truck bed.
This time I had my son help me with the install as he was in state visiting for a few short days.
We opened the package and the rails had dents in them and scratches.
I had removed the old cover earlier that morning and that part was a breeze! The new cover instructions were a bit sketchy and we ended up taking the cover on and off a couple of times to get it done right.
Finally we tried to close the cover and it would not close! I called PE, they told me the only solution was to remove the cover and feed the fabric into the track then re-install the entire process again.
I had an issue with the old cover a couple of months ago slipping into the canister, so I used a piece of 7/16th waferboard to slip past into the canister and press up slightly allowing the cover clearance to feed onto the track. This worked and saved us at least 2 hours of work!
The product is great, but please improve the instructions! A video of the install would be very helpful!" —Michael H from Litchfield Park, AZ bought a Pace Edwards JackRabbit Tonneau Cover for a 2006 Chevy Silverado.
"Only kept from being a 5 star based on drainage system. Cover itself looks great, ten times better than other above the bed covers." —Tim S from Savage, MN bought a Pace Edwards Full Metal JackRabbit Tonneau Cover for a 2006 Chevy Silverado.
"Installation instructions somewhat confusing and some fastners not as described, however installation is really easy.
Biggest dispointment..since top sits BELOW bed side level all water MUST drain into bed at tailgate or into canister at front.
I have bedrug in truck so it will always get wet!!" —Archie F from Greensboro, NC bought a Pace Edwards JackRabbit Tonneau Cover for a 2006 Chevy Silverado.
