I did not need to make any adjustments after installation, it was tight from the get-go." —Charlie D from Burnsville, NC bought an Access Roll-Up Tonneau Cover for a 2006 Dodge Dakota.

"I got my cover while I was down with a bunch of broken bones from an accident. I couldn't wait to install it so once I could make it down on my crutches to the truck I crawled into the bed and sat and with one hand got it installed in under an hour. It looks great and fit perfect!" —Matthew B from Rockland, MA bought a TruXedo TruXport Roll-Up Tonneau Cover for a 2006 Dodge Dakota, Short bed (approx. 5 ft.).
"I really like my Extang Black Max tonneau cover. The directions were simple and straight forward. It really makes a difference in driving, especially on the highway! I do wish that Extang had individually wrapped each rail, since there were slight scratches in the paint due to shipping; however, they are covered by the tarp and cannot be seen. Also, the cab-side rail did not seal because of the bed design. I called Extang and they sent me the extra seal right away, no questions asked. They have great customer service! Eric" —Eric C. P from Canonsburg, PA bought an Extang BlackMax Tonneau Cover for a 2006 Dodge Dakota.
"The installation of this cover is easy. It took less than 1 hour & that included warm up time. There is no snaps with this cover which makes life alot easier.I put one on a 2001 Dodge Dakota and my current 2006 Dakota as well. Ther only problem I can find is getting the right tension for the cover due to the cold weather up here but this is very minor." —Philip W from Orillia, ON bought an Extang TuffTonno Peel & Seal Roll Up Tonneau Cover for a 2006 Dodge Dakota.
"Response to the Truxedo is definately Positive.
After receiving my cover, and it being too cold to stand out side to put it on, I just left it rest on the Porch.
BUT, I did take the Directions inside to sit warm by the Fire and learn how to put this thing on.
Good thing I did!
After reading the instructions thru the first time, I realized right away that I didn't know squat about putting this thing on.
So I read This thru again.
Well, it slowly began to dawn on me that "Hey, I can do this!" DUH!
The next day was beautiful. Warm and Comfortable.
So out I go to get this project started. What the heck, this should be s piece of cake, after all, I've read the directions thru 4 times.
Ok follow step 1 and step 2 etc.
Oh yeah, be sure to follow ALL the steps through. In order.
Fortunately, I'm Mechanically inclined anyway, so I did just what the instructions said, only I took the instructions one step further.
Go get a Measuring tape, and USE IT! It makes installation more exact in centering it on the Box Bed.
After I put it on and was all finished, I tried it and "good grief, it worked exactly as I planned it!!!
Ok, well exactly as THEY said it would.
ALLRIGHT, install the POP Lock and by golly, everything looks okey dokey.
A great Cover, tight, snug, and now all I have to do is find something to cover up and lock in it.
This is no Joke!!!! That Night, there was a 45 MPH Wind blowing a Blizzard directly towards the Tail Gate of my Truck. The next Day, after opening it up I discovered it was completly Dry. Hey! this thing really Works!.............Norm......^j^" —Norman C from Milltown, MT bought a TruXedo TruXport Roll-Up Tonneau Cover for a 2006 Dodge Dakota.

"The cover was so easy to install. Took 30 mins, instructions were easy to understand. The hardest part was getting all the snaps on, when I reached the tail gate it took some real strentgh to pull them into place. Once the cover stretches, it comes off & goes on relatively easy now. Great cover at a great price.
Thanks" —Robert S from Sussex, NJ bought an Extang Classic Platinum Original Snap Style Roll Up Tonneau Cover for a 2006 Dodge Dakota.
