TruXedo TruXport Roll-Up Tonneau Cover Reviews

Was very easy to install. Took only 15 minutes. Have already had to use it to keep things dry. Have had numerous people comment on how good it looks and fits on the truck. Would definitely recommend this product.

BAK BAKFlip G2 Tonneau Cover Reviews

BAK BakFlip Tonneau Cover - G2 Version

Reviewed By Walt S (Hatfield, PA) Reviewed for a 1997 Dodge Dakota —8/7/2009 12:10 PM

This cover is awesome ! I used to have a Dodge "Soft Top" with the snaps. Only problem was that if the temperature dropped below 80 deg. you couldn't resnap them. I had to physically crawl inside the truck bed to remove objects. With this cover, you pull the cords and the latches disengage (on every panel except the third). Well built out of aluminum and durable. Minor rub was that some of the edges were unfinished (sharp) and the drilled holes still had flashing on them. I matched the cover up with the Pop & Lock Tailgate lock so now I have a nice secure area to place valuables. I also purchased separately from AA, the BAK Bed X-Tender, which when rotated, prevents all the valuables in the truck bed from sliding.

Pop & Lock Tailgate Lock Reviews

Pop & Lock Tailgate Lock

Reviewed By Walt S (Hatfield, PA) Reviewed for a 1997 Dodge Dakota —7/23/2009 12:02 PM

Installed the Pop & Lock Tailgate Lock yesterday on my 1997 Dodge Dakota. Pro's were the quality of construction, keyset and the positive locking of the tailgate. I always had a problem with the tailgate not fully closing/latching, hitting a major bump and have it slam down. Dodge never offered a locking tailgate on the 1997 models. One Con however, was the installation. The installation directions say to remove the center bolt and "loosen" the other two. You might as well just take them out because fitting the lock behind the latch is near impossible because of clearance.
