Extang BlackMax Tonneau Review

Reviewed By Steve D (FLORENCE, OR) Reviewed for a 1969 Ford F-100 —5/9/2014 8:29 AM

The Tonneau cover is not a bad looking cover, however as I mentioned before, the cover I ordered for my 1969 Ford F-100 long bed does not fit very well, & does not look very nice, because they do not make an actual cover for the 1967 through 1972 Ford long bed pickups. Instead they say the covers for the later models fit. They fit, but not very well, because the later model pickup beds are wider then the 1967 through 1972 models.

For the money, its worth it

Reviewed By Jeffrey Y (LANSING, MI) Reviewed for a 2013 Ford F-150 —4/16/2016 8:03 AM

This light works just fine. I waited for a warm day and stuck it to my plastic bed liner. Just cleaned ahead of time with water and a towel, and then rubbing alcohol and a towel. Granted, its going to be under a tonneau cover most of the time so it will be protected. If I didn't use a tonneau I would worry wear and tear more. For $40 or so I have an adequate light in the bed. Not too shabby

Only time will tell

Reviewed By Chris G (Orrick, MO) Reviewed for a 2016 Ford F-150 —3/19/2016 5:46 AM

My order arrived quickly. This seal was very easy to install and seems to stick well. The material seems tough enough. The only down sides are that it seems to me it costs way too much and it is not thick enough to seal the corners of my 2016 Ford tailgate. I live on a gravel road and this seal has reduced the amount of dust that leaks into my camper shell but it didn't eliminate the problem completely. Only time will tell if it holds up.
