Although I have nothing to compare this hard cover with since this is my first one, I can say that I'm very pleased with the quality and fit. It looks very nice. If I had a complaint, it would be the gasket around the edges in terms of how large and bulky it is. Then again, we'd be complaining if it leaked. I'm very happy with my cover and would highly recommend it.

Not Bad!

Haven't had it on long but so far so good. With the help of my son we had it on and aligned in about 45 mins. The hardest part was lining the unit up and aligning it front and back. I drilled holes in the rubber caps at the rear of the bed and ran the drain tubes out there. A little water gets in by the tail gate but really not a big deal for me. Looks nice on the vehicle and its a breeze to open.

Good... but........

Reviewed By DARREN J (Benedict, MD) Reviewed for a 2001 Ford F-250 —12/16/2011 2:21 AM

As others have mentioned, the instructions could be better. It took me a couple of hours to install by myself, yes two people make it easier, but it's possible with one. There were many parts I never used and the book did not mention them, so I presume I don't need them. There are other parts that are not mentioned, but a little common sense and you can figure out what and where they go. It comes with an extra set of 'stops' or locking points that are adjustable along the length of the rails, might be nice to have another set in case you have varying size loads and would like to have the cover only open a portion of the way. This seems to be the only unit that allows partial opening. The unit takes up a little more room than desired, especially having a short bed. It hasn't rained yet, so can't comment on the units ability to shed water. Overall I am very happy with it, but time will tell as to the quality of it.
