New BAK F1 cover for 2008 F-450

Reviewed By Michael M (St Petersburg, FL) Reviewed for a 2008 Ford F-450/550 —1/26/2011 2:03 PM

The cover arrived a couple days late, but once I got it, it was easy to install, the directions could be a little clearer, but you could follow them. The cover looks great. It could be about a 1/4 inch longer, would by little snugger, but still workers good. Isn't water proof, had a storm a couple hours after installation, wasn't a lot of water, but it was wet. It could be the Ford bed rail covers that are factory installed. I'm still very happy. Can individual top panels be ordered. The storm caused dammage from flying wood (gouge not all the way through)?

throw away the paper and watch the Video, but neither show everything ! You might want to drill the holes for the 2 drains first while you have the room. It took 2 of us 2 hours, one to read and one to do the work, Good Luck !!

Overall this product is as described. I purchased one 8 years ago for my truck. Back again! Its a great product. Updates were noticable and has made the product better. Installation is time consuming and slightly vague. Have patience and triple check things for success. The nylon strap used to retract the cover is supposed to attach with a self tapping screw to a dedicated hole in the rail track. The hole was nowhere to be found. I had to improvise and drill one.
