"Installation was easy; only took a half hour. New out of the box it was a little tight to snap, but looks great." —Orlando L from Renton, WA bought an Extang Classic Platinum Original Snap Style Roll Up Tonneau Cover for a 2005 Ford Ranger.
"I get frustrated easily and throw things when installing many simple things. I was hesitant to order a Tonneau cover that I had to install for fear or wrecking it. I just want to put people at ease who are like me. It is easy to install and it works quite nicely as well! I saved well over $100.00 by not going to the dealership and doing it myself. So put your mind at ease with this Tonneau cover!" —Aaron B from Hubbardston, MA bought an Extang TuffTonno Peel & Seal Roll Up Tonneau Cover for a 2005 Ford Ranger.
"The BlackMax Tonneau cover is everything it is advertised to be. It took me 30 minutes to install with easy to follow instructions." —Jarold S from River Ridge, LA bought an Extang BlackMax Tonneau Cover for a 2005 Ford Ranger.
"I bought a cover mainly cause we want to go camping and my husband had to have a speaker box in his car so this isnt much room anymore. Its to expensive to buy a canopy for the truck so the next best thing was the cover. Its great so you dont have to worry about things flying out of the back of your truck. It was simply to set up. The snaps are a little difficult at first. I suggest that you snap the cab side on first. The one thing I wish they would have told me about the polish when I bought it so I could have gotten it at the same time. Helps keep the warranty up. Oh and I noticed right away the saving on gas. I drive a lot, so it was great with the gas prices going up so much." —Shannon S from Concrete, WA bought an Extang BlackMax Tonneau Cover for a 2005 Ford Ranger.
"Great cover but it was no 30 min install. My Ranger had a factory bed liner which had to be modified in order for the forward two sets of clamps to fit. In addition, I had to trim the tail piece of the bed liner so the tail- gate would close. Also, it needs another Monster Bow to keep it tighter at highway speeds.Overall I'm very satisfied and rec to anyone looking for a great Tonneau cover." —Robert T from North Charleston, SC bought an Extang TuffTonno Peel & Seal Roll Up Tonneau Cover for a 2005 Ford Ranger.
"When i first purchased my 05 ford ranger money was kind of tight so my options were limited with cover's I went and purchased a snap cover from a local auto part store it worked fine served its purpose. In the winter time unsnapping it wasn't any option because it would not snap back also removing and installing the bows was a little time consuming. Recently one of my buddies purchased a tonneau cover just like this one so i called a couple of shops in the area everybody was quoting anywhere from 400to 500 dollars. I came on the site found the cover that fit my application for a little under 300 and only took about half hour to install. When it came time to pass the test it did with flying colors It was real cold day in chicago we got about 6 inches of snow so I unrolled my cover through my snow blower in the bed went to my girlfriends parents house cleared there drive went home and was able to close or snap the cover with no problems great product for the price will definitely purchase another one when I get my next truck" —Jose A from Evergreen Park, IL bought a TruXedo TruXport Roll-Up Tonneau Cover for a 2005 Ford Ranger.
"Looks great, works great initially, no long term available yet. One tip though, do not tighten clamps until the cover is snapped on all clips on the cab side ONLY, then pull bracket square flush with cab and then install clamps, etc." —Jason D from Saint Cloud, FL bought an Extang BlackMax Tonneau Cover for a 2005 Ford Ranger.
"Very pleased with this. Installed easily by myself in under 30 minutes and just looks great. Very good quality." —Brandon K from Oak Ridge, TN bought an Extang Toolbox Tonneau Cover for a 2005 Ford Ranger.
"Good for price point , installation instructions could be clearer.( step 2 could use up/down arrows) Agri-cover should include weather strip for front of box to seal better, 1/8 gap between front of cover support and front of bed box , leather cover part helps but rain could still get inside. Ray Dallas TX" —Ray V from Forney, TX bought an Access Literider Roll-Up Tonneau Cover for a 2005 Ford Ranger.
"Great quality product! Very easy to install, the installation video was especially helpful! Cover looks great and I believe will hold up well to the winter snow! Not that I am looking forward to it or anything!" —Mike P from Swisher, IA bought a TruXedo TruXport Roll-Up Tonneau Cover for a 2005 Ford Ranger.
"Just installed my Roll-up cover with great results. Installation was fairly easy although instructions could have been a little more clear. There were some minor leaks near the tailgate after sitting in the rain for a day. The fit between the cover's tailgate seal and my tailgate cap may be the cause. Overall I'm happy with this product so far. In my opinion, this is the best value when compared to all other covers I considered." —John P from Calhoun, GA bought a TruXedo TruXport Roll-Up Tonneau Cover for a 2005 Ford Ranger.
