We ended up having one person pushing it forward as hard as possible while the other person tightened it down." —Nicholas A from Cottage Grove, WI bought a Pace Edwards JackRabbit Tonneau Cover for a 2008 GMC Sierra.

"This tonneau cover was pretty easy to install, considering I did it in 40 degree weather. It seems to made pretty well. Though, I am concerned about the end rail at the tailgate not being easily removed if need be. Also wish the tie straps were of the velcro type. Other than that I am very happy with my purchase." —Matt S from Eaton Rapids, MI bought a Lund Genesis Seal & Peel Tonneau Cover for a 2008 GMC Sierra.
"I have had other soft covers as well as hard folding covers and this is by far the best. The cover material is thicker and seems to be much higher quality than other soft covers I have had. Looks great and so far has kept bed dry. Installation is relatively easy and took about 45 minutes. Looks great on the 2008 Sierra.Bob in Little Rock." —Robert W from Little Rock, AR bought an Access Lorado Performance Tonneau Cover for a 2008 GMC Sierra.
"I recently purchased a new '08 GMC Sierra 1500 standard (6.5') bed. This tonneau fit and looks good. I chose the BlackMax over the Platinum because I didn't want the bare-aluminum look peeping through from beneath the black cover.I chose this because I had another brand tonneau on my '99 S-10 which ripped along the seam at the cab, and I replaced it with a BlackMax. That BlackMax on the S-10 lasted 7 years of fairly regular use and didn't look too bad, so I figured I would go with another one. I believe snaps all the way around (all 4-sides) is a must for me. They are strong and you don't have to worry about some sewn seam coming loose. The only thing I will say is that you will want to install this in a heated garage or at least let the tonneau warm up inside your house before installing. Once the faux-leather top cools it contracts and it is very difficult to get the snaps in the right position and then snap in place. I use a leftover end from a 2x4 and place the corner of the 2x4 on the snap and use the 2x4 to pull the cover (female) snap over the rail (male) snap and then press down to get it to snap. (never thought I would write snap so many times in one sentence.) My old tonneau was the same way throughout it's lifetime. From experience with my old tonneau, you will never have to worry about the cover getting loose with time and wear. If anything it seemed to get slightly tighter." —Matt C from Decatur, IL bought an Extang BlackMax Tonneau Cover for a 2008 GMC Sierra.
"Looks great and was easy to install. All you have to do is take a moment to get it centered and away you go. No rain in Tampa yet, but it looks like it will do its job as advertised." —Jeffrey P from Wesley Chapel, FL bought a TruXedo TruXport Roll-Up Tonneau Cover for a 2008 GMC Sierra.
"This tonneau cover was very easy to install. All materials are of excellent quality. Vinyl cover is heavy duty, as are the bows sown into the cover. After I got it installed on my 2008 GMC Sierra crew cab it looked great, lays flat and super tight from cab to tail gate. Washed the truck the other day and sprayed the hose at the edges of the seals just to see if I could make it leak, didn't leak a drop." —Robert S from New Albany, IN bought an Extang Revolution Tonneau Cover for a 2008 GMC Sierra.
"Very fast and easy installation, small trimming on tail gate. Took less than an hour. Now I can place stuff in the bed of my truck and not worry." —Steve R from Caneadea, NY bought a Lund Genesis Roll Up Tonneau Cover for a 2008 GMC Sierra.
