Extang BlackMax Tonneau Cover

The Extang BlackMax Tonneau Cover is outstanding for the price. Installation was simple and the snaps were a breeze. I just wish there was a tiny disclaimer on the directions that said not all truck frames are perfectly square; it made the tonneau frame look bent. However, after I snapped down the cover you couldn't even tell. It's just a thought for other rookies like me. Overall, I am very happy with the cover and it looks great! Thank you.

Instructions could be better but other than that it went on pretty quick. Looks nice and many positive comments from family & friends.

Seal & Peel Good Deal

Reviewed By marc r (Seaside, CA) Reviewed for a 2006 Mitsubishi Raider —5/9/2007 9:00 AM

I got this a week ago and it was a lot less money than other soft covers. It went on in 10 minutes using easy directions. It was simple to seal, although at times the inside tan lip gets caught on the track as you seal the outside lip. On the freeway it stays nice without too much movement or noise. The straps near the cab flapped around a lot, so I tied them together, and they are fine. It was easy to go to the drive-in movie and unsnap the rails and roll it all up to the cab. I am a little wary of the material, which has a guarantee; I looked underneath with the gate closed and saw about six small pinsize holes. It has rained twice, and has not leaked. Been through the carwash once, and no leaks. I did run a bead of black caulk around the bottom of the side rails for added proctection.
