Tonneau Installation

Reviewed By Gerald P (Mc Cormick, SC) Reviewed for a 2011 Nissan Frontier —8/12/2016 11:09 AM

This installation would have been easy had it not been for a misaligned bolt hole in the right side rail where the tension adjuster is attached. I had to disassemble it to remove the tension adjuster and elongate the hole to make it fit. Completed assembly is nice.

Some quirks of installation

Reviewed By Felix T (BEL AIR, MD) Reviewed for a 2011 Nissan Frontier —5/21/2014 3:35 AM

With the Nissan Frontier's bed liner and cargo system, there are some nuances with the installation that render it a bit tricky. Aside from jockeying in the clamps between the cargo rail and top, the instructions do not address this. Most notably, you must install two extra pieces of insulation at the front of the bed. Instructions on exactly how to do this are vague, not well illustrated, and not covered in the video. Otherwise things proceeded well, after getting replacement insulation.

Amazing value.

Reviewed By Patrick P (Clarksville, TN) Reviewed for a 2011 Nissan Frontier —10/9/2013 5:26 PM

This is hands down the best tonneau cover for the price. Once I received it, it had all of the familiar pieces, and I installed it alone within 30 minutes. Of course for the price it doesn't have the fanciest locking mechanism, but so far it seems pretty durable. The only reason I gave it four stars bc at the very front where the side rails meets the cab there is a 1/4" hole on both sides, where water leaks in. It's a very small hole that can easily be fixed with a small piece of weather strip.
