BAK BAKFlip G2 Tonneau Cover Reviews

Great cover to increase the utility of the truck bed

This BakFlip G2 cover was very easy to install, although I had to figure out how to position the two cover bolts properly, with rubber washer, washer, and locking nut in the right order only after watching some YouTube videos. The instructions should have been more clear on this. After install the cover looks great, and is very secure. It is a great compromise between a full hard cover and a soft fold cover, providing the benefits of both while avoiding the disadvantages of those as well!!

Looks great - a pain to install

Reviewed By Jacqueline W (Gloucester, VA) Reviewed for a 2002 Nissan Frontier —5/18/2006 12:14 PM

The shipment came in two huge boxes. In order to put it together, we had to go online to the Bak website to find more detailed instructions. After that, it wasn't majorly difficult. I didn't realize that the tubes for drainage required me to drill through the bedliner. I am not too keen on that, so I'm going to get longer hoses and rig it another way. The holes didn't totally match up, but we drilled new ones, and I had to get longer screws. Other than that, it was a great value, and it looks awesome on my truck. If you're not mechanically inclined, this process may be a pain for you. But the end result is worth it.
