RollBAK G2 Tonneau Cover

Reviewed By David M (EAU CLAIRE, WI) Reviewed for a 2013 Nissan Frontier —12/23/2013 7:00 AM

The look and fit are great. The installation was not. I installed the cover on a 2013 Nissan Frontier and had to modify the rail clamps to fit the factory tie-down system. These modifications took several hours and could be part of the standard package without reducing strength or versatility. The final lock on the cover was too far forward and allow a 1/2 gap (yes, it was installed as far to the rear as possible). With a few minor factory adjustments, this would be an excellent product.

A Great Tonneau Cover that should be a snap to install

Reviewed By Richard D (Norfolk, NE) Reviewed for a 2016 Nissan Frontier —1/30/2016 7:17 PM

I installed it on a new 2016 Nissan Frontier Short-box truck. After all is said and done, I'm convinced that my installation problems were due to a truck bed with 2 different length sides. There is not a lot of wiggle room on the tolerances when installing this cover and having one side of the bed 1/4 inch shorter than the other meant that I had to modify the cover that covers the top of the canister. It now works and looks great. The folks at AutoAnything and Pace-Edwards were great.

Install instructions could be better

Reviewed By Paul R (Flagstaff, AZ) Reviewed for a 2007 Nissan Frontier —1/22/2010 4:41 PM

Installing this in two hours with one person is not valid unless you are a gorilla with a mechanical engineering degree. It took two of us two hours just to find out how to attach the rails to the canister & once we got that, it went together in a snap. Should be a close up of how the rails connect. We found that pulling the fabric cover out about 6 inches past the metal handle area made getting the rail connections into the canister connections much easier, at least on my application it was a very tight fit. Needed a wooden mallet on the tailgate end of the rail to get it into the canister connection. If you have a bed extender then set the extender how you want it permanent or take it out prior to this install
