BAK BAKFlip G2 Tonneau Cover Reviews

G2 Rating

Reviewed By Darryl S (Hattiesburg, MS) Reviewed for a 2005 Nissan Titan —9/17/2016 3:30 PM

Cover is very nice , easy install as well. Had to make cut on the rods that hold the cover up when in the open position , the rods were pop riveted to far up for them to work correctly. nothing that a hack saw couldn't fix. Over all I am still happy with the product. One thing that could be done to better this product is to add snap hooks to fasten cover down on each fold of cover

Very Happy with VP

Struggled with a choice for a year, and now, I laugh at my long wait. The vp installed easy, and fits great. Love the vinyl surface.

Slipped On Like a Glove, After A Minor Adjustment

Reviewed By Vladimira L (Woodland Hills, CA) Reviewed for a 2005 Nissan Titan —5/30/2012 2:01 AM

Delivered when promised in excellent shape. Following the very straight forward instructions was very easy. After the install, I did need to make a slight alignment adjustment at the front right bracket to allow the lid to align evenly on both sides of the bed. The length was perfect, a decent fit. tested the seal at the car wash and found only minimal water inside after direct spraying up the sides of the bed itself. Without an additional seal kit, the test passed muster better than most. What's nice about this type of tonneau, is that it is MUCH lighter than a fiberglass product and much more resilient than a folder or roller top (fewer moving parts)... of which I have own all three of the other at one time or another. The locks are smooth to engage, the FED light incorporated on the underside of the lid is minimal, but good enough to find keys and check thge rear deck, but not strong enough to work from. I find this to be a good product for the price, and an even better product as engineered.
