2010 Nissan Titan - BAKFlip pretty good

Reviewed By Hale W (Franklin, TN) Reviewed for a 2010 Nissan Titan —12/16/2011 11:16 AM

They sent me clamps that did not really fit. I called BAK about it so they sent me the same clamps again, but they used a grinder to take away some of the metal that was preventing a good fit. These clamps fit slightly better, but not perfect. The clamps clip the BAK rails to my truck's bed rail. The clamps would not clamp down completely flush. I wish those fit better. Other than that, not too bad. The cover itself looks good and is strong. I don't like the way you can't close the tailgate without first opening the F1 cover. It's kind of a hassle to always open that up just to close the tailgate. Other than the clamp issue, the installation was relatively easy. Just took a little trial and error to know how far back to slide it before tightening down. The overall fit is just okay. The latches that hold each section down are not exactly centered. The latch on the left seems much more secure than the latch on the right side, which barely grabs the rail. They need to include some kind of hose reducer too. My bed has a drain, but it's smaller than the hose that they send with it. Now I have to go buy something else just to complete the installation.
