Extang Toolbox Tonneau Cover Reviews

Kenny Mac Sterling, Il.

The quality I found to be excellant. The installation of the product I found to be fair because of the lack of clarity on the instructions. The mounting brackets have two sizes and are to be placed at different positions along the truck bed. Their was no mention of this on the instuctions. After a short struggle the problem became apparent and I made adjustments and installation went fine. I would like to see this addressed for future cuotomers. What a great addition to my man mobile.

2nd cover i've owned

Reviewed By ralph m (RALEIGH, NC) Reviewed for a 2016 GMC Sierra —1/24/2017 6:45 AM

I had the same cover on a 2014 chevy. Like the roll up feature. Second time around it installed much quicker as I knew the drill. Only negative is that I have to add a little width to my metal box so the Extang will cover the tail gate.I've noticed the steel boxes today are a little less wide than in the past and makes it a challenge to get the cover to seal up the truck bed .

BAK BAKFlip F1 Tonneau Cover with BAKBox 2 Toolbox Reviews

Very Well Built!

Reviewed By Todd S (Ankeny, IA) Reviewed for a 2014 GMC Sierra —12/19/2016 9:08 PM

I like the features of the BAKFlip F1 because it effortlessly folds back as far as you need it, and it sits flush with the top of the bed rail. It is very sturdy and well built. The installation was very easy, however for the 2014 Chevy/GMC truck, the instructions state that no shims are needed for installation because the bed rail cover fits over the bed rail at a 90 degree angle. This is not true. There is a slight angle, so for the tonneau cover rails to fit correct, I had to add some shims.
