Slipped On Like a Glove, After A Minor Adjustment

Reviewed By Vladimira L (Woodland Hills, CA) Reviewed for a 2005 Nissan Titan —5/30/2012 2:01 AM

Delivered when promised in excellent shape. Following the very straight forward instructions was very easy. After the install, I did need to make a slight alignment adjustment at the front right bracket to allow the lid to align evenly on both sides of the bed. The length was perfect, a decent fit. tested the seal at the car wash and found only minimal water inside after direct spraying up the sides of the bed itself. Without an additional seal kit, the test passed muster better than most. What's nice about this type of tonneau, is that it is MUCH lighter than a fiberglass product and much more resilient than a folder or roller top (fewer moving parts)... of which I have own all three of the other at one time or another. The locks are smooth to engage, the FED light incorporated on the underside of the lid is minimal, but good enough to find keys and check thge rear deck, but not strong enough to work from. I find this to be a good product for the price, and an even better product as engineered.

Nice top!

Reviewed By Joseph K (Hollywood, MD) Reviewed for a 2005 Nissan Titan —5/22/2006 5:38 AM

I have a '05 Titan Crew w/Utili-Trak, and searched for a while before I selected the Extang Full-Tilt tonneau. I read all the comments on this website and others about this top and it seemed like it was a quality product. It is. It took about 1.5 hours to install by myself, it was easy to do, and the instructions were understandable. All parts were included. When it was all done, one of the pads would not stick to the 90deg corners and there was a small gap between the tailgate and the top. A customer rep at Extang sent out new material to remedy both problems. One of the questions that I couldn't get an answer to before buying was if the Nissan sliding bed extender could be installed without removing the brackets for this top. Turns out it works ok - the only catch is that you will have to secure the top by some other means (I just bungeed it to the tiedowns) and the bed extender will not be sliding any longer (it only fits at the the back end of the bed). Hope this helps someone else...

Reviewed By Ryan B (SURPRISE, AZ) Reviewed for a 2012 Nissan Titan —10/7/2015 10:20 PM

The cover was made perfect but I was sent the wrong hardware! I sent a email to auto anything and they just replied with call Monday through Friday and my shipment was supposed to come in between 9-2 and they show up on Friday at 6pm, I ended up ordering the right ones through a local RV dealer
