"I narrowed my choices of cover down to the Rollnlock and the Jackrabbit. Both are high end quality products however I chose the Jackrabbit. Do your research and you will get what you pay for. Yes, the install will be much easier with 2 people however I did it myself in a reasonable time consistant with other buyers. I did have some excessive play on the passenger side. After I tried trouble shooting instructions, I called PE and the plunger stop was reversed when they put it together. Minor 5 min over the phone fix. Cover fits very well and I was more than pleased how dry the bed was after 2 days of heavy rain. But it is not waterproof. You must remove the front cargo rail. The stake pockets are still avail if you need them. I installed bull rings for extra cleats/brackets for tie downs. I am completely satisfied with the Jackrabbit. Autoanything had the best price with free ship." —James B from Leesburg, VA bought a Pace Edwards JackRabbit Tonneau Cover for a 2008 Toyota Tundra.
"I shopped around, looking (hands on), at various covers and purchased the Pace Edwards Jack Rabbit. It fits excetionally well, and everything works as it is suppose to. It took my son and I, 2-1/2 hours to install it. If the instructions were written in a coherent manner, we could have done it in less than an hour. In short, the instructions were at best, pathetic. If you have a bedliner, either remove it completely or cut out the front wall next to the cab, but only remove the top half. The drain pipes from the canister are not as secure as I would like, but they will do. As with most covers there is still some water sepage, but not enough to worry about. If I were to do it over again, I would still buy the PE cover, but throw the instructions away before assembling it. Oh yea, shipping was extremely slow. It took 20 days from the day I ordered it till the day I received it in Florida." —B C from Melbourne, FL bought a Pace Edwards JackRabbit Tonneau Cover for a 2008 Toyota Tundra.
"The fit and finish, and instructions were terrible. After the first night, the screws holding the cover for the canister on, snapped off at the head. I had to buy stainless screws to be stronger and wouldn't rust. For the price of this cover, it should've come with stainless hardware. Only cost a couple dollars but a trip to the store. The pieces weren't cut the same and had a lip where it was supposed to be flat on one of the brackets, but the other side was good. Got it all together though, and after some modifications, looks great and works smooth. I just think for the price it should be perfect." —Eric S from Syracuse, NY bought a BAK RollBak Tonneau Cover G2 for a 2008 Toyota Tundra.
"This is my second Pacedwards roll top cover. It's looks Great and operates perfectly. It was a little tricky attaching the rails to the canister as I was working alone, but just take a good look at it and you can figure it out. I was working alone and it took Less than an Hour.Had to download a manual,no problem. It uses the side Cargo Rail System,no shimming required, the new clamps fit the rail perfectly. Get nothing but compliments on my New Cover & Truck" —Gary F from Whitesboro, NY bought a Pace Edwards JackRabbit Tonneau Cover for a 2008 Toyota Tundra.
"Outstanding quality and functionality. Hand's down the most superbly crafted cover on the market today. Best of all, it's manufactured in the USA! The cover still allows me to use my bed extender as well as my tie down rails without impeding it's use. You're going to feel great about this purchase as I see many folks stare at it as I'm driving by their inferior tonneau. Buy the best and purchase this bad boy! Remember, cheap people pay twice!" —Stephen T from Plymouth, MN bought a Truck Covers USA American Roll Tonneau Cover for a 2008 Toyota Tundra, Double cab, 6' 6" short bed, with Deck Rail System.
