Extang Solid Fold 2.0 Tonneau Cover Reviews

Practical and easy to use.

Reviewed By Scott C (LAKE ALFRED, FL) Reviewed for a 2016 Toyota Tundra —1/31/2016 6:09 AM

I had the previous version of this tonneau cover on my last truck and liked it. This one seems to be even better. The old got dangerously hot to the touch in the summer. The materials on this one should stay much cooler. It's very easy to use and even remove if you need to. It's not 100% waterproof but even in an all day rain very little water gets in the bed (a couple ounces, maybe). I've used an Extang Solid Fold for 6 years and never had a problem with it.

Best cover out there

Reviewed By Ronald R (Soddy Daisy, TN) Reviewed for a 2016 Toyota Tundra —1/15/2016 6:47 AM

Over the years, I've had an ARE fiberglass cover, Roll-n-Lock, and now BakFlip FI on other pickups. This is by far the best of the three. It looks great, fit and quality is excellent, and it was easy to install. In fact, I was amazed at how easy it was. It was packaged very well, so arrived with no damage. Have only had it on a couple of weeks, so can't provide a long term evaluation, but very impressed at this point. Would definitely recommend.

Nice looking and decent fit!

Reviewed By Steven K (Walnut Creek, CA) Reviewed for a 2015 Toyota Tundra —12/20/2015 10:57 AM

It is nice to be able to hide and lock things without using the cab. Good looking too. HELP FOR YOU: On the rail version, you need to remove the tiedowns to fit. The drip tubes fit in the holes, but can't turn down in cavity, so trim them short, loose foam strip goes on top of rail cap. Cover gaskets need heat to mold to shape of rail cap.
