Meet BAK’s most advanced tonneau cover ever—the BakFlip F1. The dual-purpose F1 flips back for total bed access and rear window protection, then it folds forward and locks in place to keep cargo crooks and sticky fingers at bay.
What really sets the BAKFlip F1 apart from lesser tonneaus is the high-tech construction and design. BAK takes a super-rigid EPS core, sandwiches it with fiberglass-reinforced polymer on top and an epoxy-coated aluminum on bottom. This makes the F1 35% stronger than its younger cousin, the BAK G2, and far superior to most tonneaus on the market.
100% weather-resistant and strong enough to support up to 400 lbs of distributed weight, your BAKFlip never fades, warps or cracks. Plus, the seamless EPDM rubber hinges are leak proof and designed to outlive your truck.
Don’t worry, installing your BAKFlip F1 won't flip you out. Just a few minutes and a few hand tools are all it takes to top your truck's bed. Plus, the low profile fits right inside your bed rails to eliminate mileage-robbing wind drag. Best yet, BAK’s got your back with a flippin’ awesome 3-year warranty.

It's a nice cover but it was missing the rods that hold the cover against the back window. It took two weeks for them to send the rods. The assembly instructions are garbage. I had to find a YouTube video to figure out how to assemble the cover.

My BakFlip F1 installed in about 30 minutes. It is high quality and strong. The rubber seals naturally molded to the bed edges after about two days. I recommend getting a bed seal if you travel in dusty environments.

Completely satisfied with the backflip f1 cover. Took about 30-40 minutes to install. Now it's like I have a huge trunk to store whatever and feel safe about leaving it locked in the bed of the truck. Haven't got to drive with it up in the full position yet but so far very impressed with looks, strength and ease of use.

It looks great and my JUNK is dry and secure. I get a lot of comments from friends who want to see how it works and ask where I got it. My parts shopping will now start at AnythingAuto.com. I have already received a refund for a price difference from the first item I bought, no hassles and quick. Install gets a lower rating. Twice with instructions and a search online for instruction video for exact location of rubber seals. Wrong first 2 tries. But it is easy to install and remove if needed.

After receiving the BAKFlip F1 I quickly realized I needed to do some reading before installing it. The instructions in the package from BAK are unfortunately lacking but it's a good thing youtube is available. The majority of my time was trying to understand how to use the deck rails for the install but after a call placed to AutoAnything they assisted me with that question. The only issue I am having is trying to figure out how to weather proof it since I am finding more leaks than I desire

The cover overall is excellent. The instructions for installation are lacking steps. The internet installation instructions along with the written instructions leave you going back and forth between the two to figure out exactly what to do. Once you understand all the steps it is easy to install. It took quite a while to figure everything out I have received a lot of compliments on it since it has been on the truck
