Meet BAK's most advanced tonneau cover ever—the BakFlip F1. The dual-purpose F1 flips back for total bed access and rear window protection, then it folds forward and locks in place to keep cargo crooks and sticky fingers at bay.
What really sets the BAKFlip F1 apart from lesser tonneaus is the high-tech construction and design. BAK takes a super-rigid EPS core, sandwiches it with fiberglass-reinforced polymer on top and an epoxy-coated aluminum on bottom. This makes the F1 35% stronger than its younger cousin, the BAK G2, and far superior to most tonneaus on the market.
100% weather-resistant and strong enough to support up to 400 lbs of distributed weight, your BAKFlip never fades, warps or cracks. Plus, the seamless EPDM rubber hinges are leak proof and designed to outlive your truck.
Don't worry, installing your BAKFlip F1 won't flip you out. Just a few minutes and a few hand tools are all it takes to top your truck's bed. Plus, the low profile fits right inside your bed rails to eliminate mileage-robbing wind drag. Best yet, BAK's got your back with a flippin' awesome 3-year warranty.

Purchased my second Bak Flip F1 after having the first one for over 5yrs. During that time the cover was really great to use and held up really well except it did develope a few small cracks in the fiberglass that lead to water getting in between panel making them heavy and causing some issues in freezing temperatures. Cover also faded some from sun exposure. Overall a quality product. Replaced it due to a really bad hail storm with golfball size hail which did it in by putting several bad depressions with cracking.

Installation was easy and the cover looks/functions great. I purchased the F1 instead of the nearly $200 cheaper G2. One of the main differences advertised between the F1 and cheaper G2 was a higher overall weight rating and that the F1 would remain cooler to the touch because of different materials. The cover still gets hot in the S.D. summer. Of course its black, i wasn't expecting a ambient air surface temperature, but it gets just as hot as the G2. Happy but should have went with the G2.

Once ordered shipment was very prompt as usual from Auto Anything. Although instructions were limited it was very easy to install by myself. Very pleased with the look and would recommend to anyone looking for this type of cover.

This in an amazing hard cover tonneau. Didn't have any significant issues installing it but be advised there weren't any instructions in either of the two boxes it shipping in. However, Bak Industries and Auto Anything have links to install videos. The videos say installation should take about 40 min. I took twice that long but I wanted it perfectly centered to minimize any possible water leakage. It has kept my bed virtually bone dry since I got it. Amazing for WA state!

I watched the installation video on the Bak website. It looked simple but I was sure there would be a catch. Much to my surprise it was as simple as the video made it look. I have had my F1 installed for about a month and have been in several rain showers and the car wash. My bed stays dry and it looks great!!!

Very pleased with the looks and the easy installation (20 min) of the product. However, I was expecting a water tight cover and that is not the case. I purchased 2 at the same time, one for my Dad's Ram 2500 and one for my 1500. Both covers leak in different spots. We have tried adjusting the covers, but nothing gets them water tight. It is certainly not a flood of water, but enough I wouldn't store anything that couldn't get wet.
