There are 2 problems with traditional tonneau covers: they block cargo access or they don't provide enough security. BAK solves both these age-old problems with the G2 version of the BAKFlip Tonneau Cover. Flip it back for total bed access and rear window protection, or fold it down and lock it in place for a solid defense against thieves.
Tonneaus are constantly exposed to harsh weather, so the BAKFlip is built to withstand Mother Nature's wrath. Each panel's crafted from a 1/2" thick EPS core bonded on both sides to a tough aluminum exterior. The structure is 100% weather-resistant and strong enough to support 300 lbs of distributed weight. Plus, your BAKFlip never fades, warps or cracks. For total hauling convenience, your G2 is also compatible with bed extenders, under-the-rail bed liners, toolboxes & storage units, sliding bed trays, bed rails and truck racks.
You won't flip out installing your BAKFlip Tonneau Cover G2 Version. Just a few minutes and a few hand tools are all it takes to clamp your new tonneau cover into your truck's bed. Plus, the BAKFlip's low profile fits inside the bed rails to eliminate MPG-robbing wind drag. Made in the USA with a 1-year warranty.

The G2 Tonto cover is sleek low profile and very well thought out. It is a little pricey though and I had one of the pop rivets come out of mine just after installing it. I had to go to Home Depot and purchase a pop rivet gun so that I could replace the rivet. To me this is a quality issue that should've been identified at the factory but overall the cover is good looking and there's no limit to the many uses for it. Take my advice and by the heavy duty one that holds more weight. Extra $100

Love the looks of this cover. Its a big improvement in looks over the Extang soft cover I had on this truck before. Installation was easy though the instructions could be better (do watch the install videos). Only drawback is that it is not as waterproof as the Extang cover. I still get a few drops of water in the center of bed. I do recommend drilling a hole under the front steak tunnels to mount the drain hoses. The factory bed holes are too high to allow proper drainage.

The BakFlip G2 installs in under 15 minutes. It does help to have a second person to push down on the rails to keep it tight to the top while you tighten down on the clamps. Also, before installing the wheel nuts be sure to lay down in the bed with the top completely down and in position, then have the second person apply pressure to the bolt while you tighten the wheel nut. Love it!

the directions were for a different type of vehicle and installation took much longer than it should have. the top appears to b good quality. the release cables were above the screws on two of the latches and I had to take them apart to make it work.

Great cover and fits very nicely on my truck. It took me about the same time to install the cover as it did to unbox it. Very easy installation. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality cover that provides a water-tight seal.

Arrived on time and was easy to install. Very impressed with how well the seals all close up everywhere. Staying dry inside so far. Three big storms and no water. Very secure with the locking tailgate.
