There are 2 problems with traditional tonneau covers: they block cargo access or they don't provide enough security. BAK solves both these age-old problems with the G2 version of the BAKFlip Tonneau Cover. Flip it back for total bed access and rear window protection, or fold it forward and lock it in place for a solid defense against thieves.
Tonneaus are constantly exposed to harsh weather, so the BAKFlip is built to withstand Mother Nature's wrath. Each panel's crafted from a 1/2" thick EPS core bonded on both sides to a tough aluminum exterior. The structure is 100% weather-resistant and strong enough to support 300 lbs of distributed weight. Plus, your BAKFlip never fades, warps or cracks. For total hauling convenience, your G2 is also compatible with bed extenders, under-the-rail bed liners, toolboxes & storage units, sliding bed trays, bed rails and truck racks.
You won't flip out installing your BAKFlip Tonneau Cover G2 Version. Just a few minutes and a few hand tools are all it takes to clamp your new tonneau cover into your truck's bed. Plus, the BAKFlip's low profile fits inside the bed rails to eliminate MPG-robbing wind drag. Made in the USA with a 1-year warranty.

I got this to replace the heavy fiberglass cover I had previously. The BakFlip G2 doesn't look as nice, but it is much more useable since I don't have to remove the cover and store it to use the bed (which is what I got the truck for in the first place). Would be nice if they made a model with no texture on the panels.

I am a materials expert an very critical of quality products. I love this cover. Fits better than expected, looks cooler than expected and is very ridge. I like being able to get all the way to the back. The price is kinda high but I doubt there is a better cover on the market. Picture directions could have been better.

The product is very nice. I believe I will enjoy this for a long time. The biggest problem was there was no installation instructions with the product. I finally found your video on line for install. My truck has a rail system so, your video was not quite the same. Finally I found someone who took photos of your rails being installed. I did not know which end went where. That was very frustrating. Once I saw the pictures, the installation when quick. You could save your customers a lot of time

Everything went perfectly. Item is exactly what I expected and has been completely water tight through 3 nice storms. Installation took about 45 min, and yes the instructions left a little to the imagination but it it really is not that hard to figure out.
