When Charly Henley from BAK Industries stopped by to talk tonneaus with AutoAnything’s Elly Brown, all ears at the 2011 SEMA Show perked up. You can always count on BAK Industries to be at the leading edge of tonneau cover and truck bed accessory innovation, and Charly gave us some serious insight as to what’s currently hot and what’s in store for the future of bed security.
Charly first touched on the history of BAK, reminding us that they’re no newcomers to the world of bed protection; having been around for nearly a quarter of a century. He next highlighted BAK’s commitment to creating jobs for our country citing their 80,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Southern California which employs 225 Americans. Then, Elly got Charly talking about BAK’s relationship with AutoAnything. Charly, full of enthusiasm, talked of how AutoAnything and BAK had been partners since the very beginning. We were thrilled to hear some of the very thoughtful things Charly had to say.
