Colorado Black Max
This was for a 2016 chevy colorado. The plastic corner pieces do not fit exact and when the clamps are tightened down, there is are small gaps in the front corners. Tried using foam strip, but that made gaps worse. Took a longer time to install because I measured every distance to align it straight. Snap are difficult to use in cold weather. It looks good when finished. If it holds up I will be happy with it.
Have had the cover on for about 3 months now and am glad I purchased it. Seems well made, easy to install and remove, should last a long time. The truck bed behind the rear window is about 1/4 of an inch lower than the side rails creating a small gap between truck bed and cover seal. Would be nice if cover came with extra strip of sealing material to attach to bed. I purchased some weather strip and attached to the bed behind window and now seals perfectly.
versatility is worth the extra cost
I HIGHLY debated between the EnCore and the Solid Fold 2.0 before deciding on the EnCore. Is it worth the extra money to open the front panel? Yes. Cargo doesn't bounce around as much when it's forward of the rear axle. Install took me a little over an hour, mainly because I did it alone. But there are issues with the factory plastic bed rail cover, and the cab-side bed wall. Gaps gaps gaps, be prepared to buy more materials.
