How is the truck lid/tonneau cover attached to truck bed? |
| |
Gaylords have two ways you can mount your truck lid/tonneau cover.
1. Gaylord's new X2000 is a clamp-on unit.
After the hardware has been clamped securely to the bed rail, the self-contained, stainless steel hinge/shocks removes and reinstalls with the lid in seconds.
No tools required!
2. Gaylords traditional hinge system does require some minor drilling into the truck bed to hold the stainless steel "Quick Release" mounting brackets.
Once installed, the lid removes and reinstalls in seconds!
3. The EASY GRIP clamp-on system is an optional installation kit for the traditional lid.
It allows a clean O.E. style install without drilling holes.
