1.  What are Pace Edwards Tonneau Covers made of?
Pace Edwards Tonneau Covers consist of a five part assembly:
a. Metal Panels
b. Foam Pad
c. External Fabric
d. Truck Bed Lamp (Jack Rabbit™ and BedLocker™ Tonneau Cover only)
e. Electric Engine (BedLocker™ Tonneau Cover only)

The metal panels are covered by a foam pad which is covered by the external "fabric". This fabric is a blend of polymer materials that has a long life while maintaining flexibility at sub-freezing temperatures. These three components are laminated together to form a single unit. Other components of the Pace Edwards Tonneau Cover are made of aluminum or other non-corroding materials.

They are designed to endure both sun and cold year after year without stretching, shrinking, tearing, or cracking. They have the look and feel of real leather and all fasteners are hidden to give you that smooth, flush mounted look.

5.  How does Pace Edwards Roll-Top Tonneau Cover lock?
Pace Edwards Roll-Top Tonneau Cover locks with a key in the center of the tonneau cover close to the tailgate. The key turns the arm that lock into the side rails which are mounted on the threshold of your truck bed. Besides the lock position at the tailgate, there is also a second lock position 1-1/2 feet forward of the tailgate. It can be used for loading the truck bed with small items.

6.  Are Pace Edwards BedLocker™ Tonneau Covers secure?
Pace Edwards BedLocker™ can lock into position at any point due to its electric brakes. The tonneau cover locks into the side rails at the tailgate. This prevents removal of the tonneau cover by taking the rails out.

7.  Will Pace Edwards Tonneau Covers keep my truck bed dry?
The Pace Edwards Tonneau Covers are designed so that water collected from the cover is carried off via "drainpipes" in the bolted-on side rails, through the canister, and then drained outside the truck bed. The cover itself is a one piece unit and water cannot leak through the fabric covering. Please note that water may intrude into the truck bed via components that are not part of the Pace Edwards Tonneau Covers such as the tailgate, stake pockets, etc.

8.  Where does the water drain to?
The drain tubes that connect to the canister are designed to channel the water they collect through the factory-provided drain holes in your truck bed. If your truck does not have factory drain holes, you will have to drill an opening in your truck bed to accommodate the drain tubes.
