I ended up with a piece of felt, had no idea where it went. called the factory and was told that item was not needed. I had a problem with the square plate/bolt and nut assembly as it got loose having to remove both side rails 2X to tighen the nut. I added a drop of locktite to solve that problem, the powder coating on the cover could have been a harder material as I got a few scratches. The installation was fairly easy. Looks good as adverstised need to wait for the rain to check out leakage.

In order to get the cover to fit securely on my 2008 Silverado, we had to put in some extra shams between the rails and the bed. This resulted in pushing the rails farther in, which made the lip on the side rails just barely covering the top of the bed. Nonetheless, this is a very good looking cover. I was worried about the cover bouncing when driving 70 mph, but there is actually very little movement of the cover itself. I may need to make some extra tweeking of the cover to get it as secure as possible, but I believe BakFlip needs to make the lip on the side rails wider for me to give this an excellent rating.

AutoAnything did not make a single claim or even a suggestion that was not just as they explained it would be. The purchase took about 10 mins after I made my selection. Making the selection was fun because each new model appeared on my model truck so I could see what the final product might look like. The top arrived in less than 10 days and was not mangled or damaged even with the 125 lb weight. The installation was amazingly easy and simple. I am extremely happy with this purchase.Steve

The cover looks great. Washed the truck and no water got in. When it warms up I will put the tail gate seal on. I have not driven the truck yet, too much snow and salt on the roads. The fit around the bed is great. I would definitely recommend this cover to anyone. The only thing I would like to see are some leds further back on the cover and controlled by a switch in the front. The cover was shipped Estes which worried me based on other comments online. However, the box was not damaged, was not even dirty, was delivered on time and driver was very courteous. All in all two thumbs up!!

8 of 9 people found this review helpful. Over all looks pretty good I like very it very must except of few mis-design: 1. Front flap seal is a little bit too narrow when open water get into the bed. 2. Rear braket could not move farther back hitting the stake pocket of the bed in order for the lock strike line-up with the locking rod. Spoke to Undercover Tech support Chris about my findings telling him I have cut both rear bottom end of the rear bracket in order to side back farther to line-up with locking rod. About the front flap seal he's sending me a wider seal flap and a glue. Over all I'm please with my order. Thank you AutoAnything and Undercover Inc. for your promt support.
