Description

Sheathe your truck with the Pace Edwards Full Metal JackRabbit Tonneau Cover for big boosts in fuel economy, security and style. Riding flush along your top bed rail, its smooth, low-profile fit eliminates gas-guzzling wind drag. Plus, it adds a NASCAR edge to your rig's image.

Besides enhancing your mileage, the Full Metal JackRabbit Tonneau Cover protects your cargo from whipping wind and would-be thieves. Simply roll the JackRabbit down, lock it into place and your truck bed becomes Fort Knox. Its extruded aluminum panels thwart even the most determined crooks. And, each slat is powder coated and jointed with an exclusive "Living-Hinge" to keep moisture and grime at bay.

Thanks to its heavy-duty continuous tension spring, Full Metal JackRabbit Tonneau Cover hops into its rugged ABS canister faster than a hare. And, the optional Explorer Series Rails let you mount a heavy-duty Pace Edwards overhead rack along with your tonneau. Easy installation and a 3-year warranty.

Best to install with a buddy. It's a little tricky by yourself. But, it's a great cover. Best I have ever put on a truck. Love the functionality of the roll-up canister.

I like the conner. However it was a little hard to install. Particularly getting the rails aligned to slide into the cannister. Took several minutes to line up. Once lined up slide right together. Other item is to make sure one follows the measurements across the bed. I had to realign at the bed end so the unit would stay closed.

The product shipped quickly and came in two boxes. There is some fussiness needed to put it together, but if you read the directions and follow it carefully and take your time with measuring then it's pretty simple. Still it took about two hours to do it with a (non-mechanically inclined) friend. Looks great. Has a sturdy feel, no cheap. Haven't tested it with water/rains, but seals up nicely and shouldn't be a problem - as confirmed in other posts and blogs.

Let me start by stating that my cover is installed and works fine. Installing it could have been a lot easier. My model of of truck is one that has a slightly tapered bed from the factory, and knowing that, and the factory recommended procedure for installing the rails to the canister, would have reduced my anxiety and stress level when setting up to install everything. On the plus side, a quick call to the factory and a look at their videos helped out alot!

Installation is simple if you don't have a plastic bed liner. No shims required for tundra. Watch you tube videos for installation because instructions are confusing.

Love the versatility of this style cover. Installed by myself in less than 2 hours even though instructions could have been a little more clear on certain steps. My only complaint about the cover is the drain tubes wouldnt reach where i needed them to so had to make some slight modifications to get around that. Other than that, love this cover.

I just installed the Pace Edwards Full Metal Jacket Cover with the Explorer rails & Utility Rack System. I have been wanting this type of system for my 1st pickup but thought it was too pricey. When I got my 2nd pickup I decided to go ahead and get a lockable cover. AutoAnything offered a great price and service was excellent and with the on-line videos, it was a simple installation. The entire rig looks great and meets my every criteria for a lockable bed cover with an integrated rack system. I use it for my windsurfing gear; board on the rack and all the sails, boom and rigging equipment get stored in the lockable bed. The setup looks SHARP!

I had originally purchased a BAK RollBak G2. Installation instructions were confusing & I had to remove the Utilitrack System. I decided to have the car dealer install it for me. They also had problems and it fit poorly. I called Bak Customer Support and didn't get an answer for TWO DAYS. By that time I had already packed it back up to be returned. I exchanged it for the Pace-Edwards FM Jackreabbit. I did not have to remove the Utilitrack System and installed it myself. It fit perfect, looks great and operates smoothly. A MUCH BETTER CHOICE.

Hello. In most beds, there will be two already existing drain holes, but if these are not present in your truck bed, then you will have to drill them yourself. This is done before the tonneau is installed. thank you for your question.
