Installation of this cover was straight forward and simple. You can do the installation work yourself but it'll go much quicker with an extra set of hands to help out. The step by step instructions are easy to read and understand. I now have a great looking cover for my longbed pickup and I am enjoying the ability to let the cover retract into its housing when I have a large item to put in the back. This cover certainly beats those solid shell tonneau covers because I dont have to remove a thing! Space taken by the housing is negligible, I still have room underneath the unit to use. The only drawbacks to a cover like this are that you loose your stake holes, your tailgate gains a square 3/4 inch lip where the cover locks to it, and if the cover needs a little extra pull than the strap is meant to handle, the aluminum bracket holding the strap to the cover will break. Other than the last sentence, I am thoroughly satisfied by this cover and will recommend it to anyone that's thinking about getting one.

Roll N lock tonneau cover

How is water drained away, and can it be fitted with a Dodge boxliner in the truck Jim M

Water is drained through the roller channels. You may or may not be able to install a bed liner depending if it allows access to the underside of the bedrails for the tonneau cover clamps.
