This cover is awesome ! I used to have a Dodge "Soft Top" with the snaps. Only problem was that if the temperature dropped below 80 deg. you couldn't resnap them. I had to physically crawl inside the truck bed to remove objects. With this cover, you pull the cords and the latches disengage (on every panel except the third). Well built out of aluminum and durable. Minor rub was that some of the edges were unfinished (sharp) and the drilled holes still had flashing on them. I matched the cover up with the Pop & Lock Tailgate lock so now I have a nice secure area to place valuables. I also purchased separately from AA, the BAK Bed X-Tender, which when rotated, prevents all the valuables in the truck bed from sliding.

The look, fit, color match and delivery schedule where all great. The only thing that was better was the price. Total cost was less than one third of what dealer wanted for a like product and the price was even less than ordering one from Ford directly. Installation does indeed take three people and overall took us about 90 minutes to get it situated and secured correctly. It's a NO drill installation which is fantastic. The installation of the cover and hardware was easy. I took my time and finished in an hour. It works fine and overall I'm happy with it.The shipping package was not as good as it could have been and I will be contacting Extang to get some of the parts replaced as they came damaged. The piece that the cover tilts on had some cuts that looked like they were done in a high school metal shop instead of a professional manufacturing operation.The directions need to be tweaked. At one point they tell you not to tighten some screws that are used to assemble the bed frame and then never tell you when to tighten them.

The installation of the Full Metal Jack Rabitt toneau with Explorer rails was fairly simple and took about an hour to complete. Everything fit well and went together easily. There are a couple of small holes in the directions, but someone with a usual amount of handyman knowledge can reason through them fairly quickly. I would suggest purchasing bed rail covers, as the explorer rails do not cover the stake pockets on the front of the bed. The product also looks very finished when installed, I have only had it on about 3 days, and I have already received a number of compliments. The only problem I had was that the delivery was rescheduled twice so that I recevied my shipment approximately two weeks after the inital date.

The cover arived at my home in very timely manner. The instructions were pretty good but could be a little better. That is about the only complaint I have. Was still able to install cover in about 30 minutes. I have a black 2005 GMC Z71 crew cab and the cover looks really good on the truck. I have not yet been in a driving rain but I did go through a drive through touchless car wash with the high pressure srpayers and only had a minimal amount of water get into the bed. The Vanish DOES NOT come with the peel and stick sealing tape and that would probably make it water tight. All in all I really like the cover and would suggest it to others and would purchase again.
