I had watched the installation video a couple of times, so there were few surprizes. The roll back nature of the cover, lets my truck be a truck when I need it to be. The material is strong and fit like the drum they discribed. The bed is not water tight, but heavy rain and carwashes have revealed very minor water entry. Be honest, we buy these for the look first and the mpg savings second. Mpg has changed by 1 or 2, maybe. The look is outstanding and far better than even my high expectations.AutoAnything has been solid to deal with. Speed, price and accuracy of the order and shipping was tops.

Overall I am very happy with this product, and it is almost exactly what I wanted.Pros - Looks great, low profile, and installed in 30 minutes, one person, with only a ½” wrench. Folds up, securely, and I have full access to bed.Cons – Completely covers Tacoma bed rail system so you lose your rail high tie-down points. Cover does not lock. Gutter drain tubes are too big for Tacoma drain holes. What could be better - Provide a reduced diameter drain tube. Provide extra holes and eye bolts in the rail system for tie-downs when cover is open.Still a great product and I would highly recommend it.

With this new one, the installation was pretty easy, but I did make a couple of minor modifications to the clamps to make them fit. After the first night it rained all day the next day and the bed is dry. Amazing. The cover is great looking as well. Only see 1 issue and that's the rubber seal which is already peeling out of the cover in the back. Seems it wasn't sewn in to the cover at that point. Also have to work on the left latch as it doesn' secure properly. Other than that, would definitely recommend this cover to all.

Stayed on at high speeds. Why not five stars you ask? Where Lund tag is does not secure all that tight. Slight cap. Tie downs tend to flap against rear window at high speeds. Tying them together seems to work. I would go with better instructions to warn us of these little inconveniences it's not as if I'm the only one who has experienced them. But watertight without the tailgate seal installed is pretty good. OK... Four and a half stars two thumbs up! By the way the ordering part thru AutoAnything is a Five Star deal.

I wanted a Tonneau Cover that would allow me to keep my tool box, which is allmost as wide as the bed. All the hard cover Tonneau Covers I looked at would not allow me to open the lid over half way. The Truxedo Cover is aboudt 1 inch above the tool box. When I roll the cover up to the cab I can open my tool box wide open for easey access. Now my cargo stays dry and easey to get at besides giving me more security. It's a "Winner"
