Dakota hitch

I'm very pleased with the product I've purchased from auto anything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I plan on purchasing some more of their products. My receiver hitch is well made and looks good. Looking forward to my next purchase. Harold

quality hitch, but installation hardware problems

Reviewed By Richard C (Medford, MA) Reviewed for a 1998 Chevy C/K 1500 —9/20/2017 12:11 PM

Installation hardware comes with carriage bolts/steel plates to lock bolts inside the frame horn. The steel plates don't keep the bolt from spinning when tightening. Wrong plates aren't long enough or wide enough PIA to remove them or wedge something in there, I Mig tacked them. License plate bracket fits, had to cut the air dam but expected. Factory tow hooks have their own backing plate so you only have to deal with the rear carriage bolt. Lacks hook ups for safety chains
