"Other than getting wires already installed with a new purchased vehicle, this little product was the fastest and easiest hook up I've had with trailer wires in 50 years. The instructions are generic and I had questions/doubts about the simple hook up. When I threw caution to the wind and popped apart wire harness connectors and popped this item in it took only seconds. Getting trunk panels out of the way, the wire routed out, and putting the panels in place took longer. Beats the hell out of wiring separate relays and wires and using crimp fittings and wirenuts. Hooked up the new trailer and the lights worked perfectly! Will install one of these in my Mercury Grand Marquis later this year along with a hitch."

"The unit was constructed very well. The installation sheet was a little bit confusing at first, however once you look at the actual vehicle it makes a lot of sense. I ran the main power wire through the frame onmy 2010 Ford Escape straight from the battery to the rear on the driver's side. I installed the wire junction box in the frame of my truck as the rear frame is exposed. i used some of my own heavy duty wire ties to strap it in. I recommend doing the same. Overall to put a new hitch on my truck and wire the harness took 2.5 hours and mostly because the hitch is a little more difficult. Overal, the wiring took 45 minutes."

"I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and was looking for something that would work without a lot of hassle. I had looked at other connectors and I bought this one due to the price and it looked easy to install. I was right, it went together so easy I thought I missed a few steps but I didn't. "The installation of this connector was reasonably easy. I did find however, that the right taillight on my truck failed to light after installation and without my trailer connected. I re-checked all connections before calling Auto-anything. The guy there couldn't find a record of my purchase nor did he have a tech line number for the manufacturer, huh?? I got off the phone and spent awhile online until I found the number myself. The tech guy seemed knowledgeable and seemed to think my only option was to return the part. Not really wanting to rip it out...I needed to get this to work. I started wiggling wires and connectors and found the problem to be in one of the T-1 connectors. The wires between connectors are short and in my truck you are forced to bend them to a 90 degree angle so they fit in the taillight cavity. They really should be pre-formed into that 90 during manufacturing to avoid the stress imposed by doing it during installation. So far the light is working ok...we'll see if it holds long-term. As a note: all the other parts of my hitch are factory OEM. the only reason I chose this aftermarket wire harness was so that I wouldn't have to go to the dealer to have the circuit turned on at additional cost."

"I was very please with the ease of installation and the detail listed for my specific vehicle. In this instance"Plug and Play" means plug it in and play with whatever toy you hook on to! Negative: I wish there was a metal bracket the would hold the 4 connector plug."

"The draw tite T was by far the easiest and fastest to install, no ground wires to hook up or drilling was required as it said, and the price was 12.00 cheaper... and free shipping, I only had to wait 3 days. can't drive to town and save that kind of money. Good thing i found auto anything on the net, my new auto store for sure"
