The instructions were OK, and the install straight forward. The only issue I had was there are 2 fuses that go on the wiring harness itself (area looked like additional harness connector). They had a picture of the Pilot fuse box where another fuse is to go, and no picture of where the first two go. Pilot fuse box uses fuses that are same as ones that go on the harness... Easy to install, just I spent more time (10min) trying to figure out the fuses than the entire rest of install!

Had one of these on my truck that went bad. Not sure how long it was on there but I have had the truck for 5 years. The light started acting weird so I took the connector appart and the lights went back to normal. Whoever hooked it up before mounted the black box with all of the circuitry in it right where water and whatever whould spray it. Eventually the water penetrated it but after all those years I am suprised it lasted so long considering where it was mounted. Very easy installation.

It works, however, the instrusctions lack some tack as no mention is applied to first remove the protective cap on the 2013 Ford Explorer harness over the passenger rear wheel well in order to plug in the T-one connecter that goes over to the hitch area... The Chinese who make the part for you failed to give complete instructions in its applications, perhaps because they never had a Ford to see it it even fit....thanks.

Easy installation. Took about 20 minutes. No cutting of harnesses needed. There is a fuse panel in the rt rear panel. I brought the wire up through the rubber plug in the floor and there is a spare blade in the fuse block you can plug the positive wire in there rather than run the wire up to the battery.

The T-connector is extremely easy to install as you only have to disconnect the harness under the truck, connect the unit to one side and the other end of the harness to the other side. You shouldn't need any tools for this. If you have any issues with the product or installation, our customer service department will be happy to help you.

I just bought a T Connect wire harness. It comes with a power wire that has to be attached to the battery. What is that for? do I really need to connect it?
