"It does not look like the picture, it's a about 8" long. It bolts on the cross member with two U bolts, and you drill in two half inch bolts stright through the cross member, it looks good and the only difficult part was the plastic molding inside the bumper. You'll need a torque wrench also. No problems with shipping, it came in a small padded box. Overall pretty happy with everything."

"The hitch arrived second day by FedEx, I was amazed. I was pleased that the hitch included the receiver, didn't expect this so the bit higher price was made up for by not having to purchase that item separately. It was a lot heavier than I suspected so had to hire someone to install it. They commented that it was a lot easier to install than they expected. The only complication was the two bolts behind the receiver slot that were under the "bumper" that were difficult to get to. Overall, 2 big thumbs UP!!"

"The hitch comes unpackaged, so it was pretty scratched up. Also, it looked like the receiver hole was welded on crooked. I was unsatisfied when I received it, however putting it on was a breeze. It took me about 30-40 minutes, fighting it myself, b/c it's heavy and hard to hold in place and bolt down by yourself. It would have taken 5 minutes with a buddy helping out. Once I got it on the truck, everything I was concerned with went away. The hitch is true to it's name and stays tucked up under the bed quite well. Overall, I am very happy and would recommend this to others. I bought this for '08 4x4 Frontier, bought the wiring harness OEM from factory and still saved around 150 bucks of what the factory would charge for tow hitch install!"

"A beautiful sight! The hitch is flush with my 2006 Ranger bumper. I won't be bumping into anything important. My locking pen on the reciever is easy to insert. I used a car jack to hold the bumper in place while I installed the perfectly alined bolts. Good engineering. Same result as a professional installation. Save a bundle-install it yourself."

"Hitch works great. But it arrived without directions or hardware for installation, which I had to buy myself. Also, the hitch was covered with six shipping labels that were a pain to remove."

"I purchased this hitch a few weeks ago and what a great product. The installation was a breeze. I installed it myself with my 8 year old assisting me. It fits like a glove and it looks like the factory installed it. The only negative experience was the shipping. It stated free shipping which was shipped FED EX Home delivery despite I requested it to be shipped to my office which added 3 additional days."

"Although I am quite satisfied with the hidden hitch I was looking forward to a perfect fit with the bolt holes. Only 2 of the 6 lined up and I had to grind out about 2 mm from 4 holes using my pencil grinder. Only a minor problem that was corrected with the proper grinder. Thus, it took me longer than the 20-30 minutes it should have been to install. Overall....this is an excellent item."

"Hitch fit like it should, instructions took a while to get the concept of how to attach the bolts. Tip: it says drill an access hole on the one side (which you do have to do) in hindsite I would have just drilled two as coming in from the end of the passenger side was harder than it looked."

"I installed this hitch on a 2005 Lexus RX 330 in less than 15 minutes. It is as simple as removing a few bolts (4) and screwing a few in (6) to secure the hitch. I have only used the hitch to install a bike carrier and has worked flawlessly."

"BUT this came and it was heavy, thick metal (tiny bit scratched from odd shipping method, but no big deal) and The Man hooked it up for me then attached our bike rack to it and off I went! I didn't know this but if you put direct weight on it (like a bike rack) rather than pulling weight (like a trailer) it only has a 200 lb. limit. No big deal for 4 bikes but something to consider. Overall, I'm happy with the quality from what I can see!"

"got good deal on hitch but was beat up fron shipping and thought about sending back. reality set in and I know if I did that I would just get another beat up one. Product is worth the money just need a better way to ship it without any scuffs or missing paint. I know this isn't the first time you heard this and probably won't be the last."

"The hitch took about 10min to install. If you want to put a class 2 cargo carrier on the hitch you can just get a drill bit and drill out the tab on the hitch."

"My hidden hitch is not exactly the hitch I ordered. I ordered the square one and got the round one, but didn't want to send it back. The price difference was insignificant, but I was charged for the more expensive hitch. My "Hidden Hitch" is anything but hidden. On my Lexus RX330, it stands out rather prominently. But it is sturdy, and of good quality. Just not what I thought it would be. Bibb"
