Hitch is fine

Posted on 11/29/2006 by David L. - 2002 Honda Odyssey (Elmhurst,IL)

"The hitch itself seems fine. It ships plain (no box or protective wrap) and they put the shipping labels and a lot of tape right on the hitch, which sucks to get off. The hitch also gets a little scratched up in shipping. The directions were a little bit wrong. It said to use a 19mm socket, when it was really an 18mm. It wouldn't have been a big deal, but I went out and bought a 19mm socket before finding out it really should be an 18mm. Not a problem with the hitch, but it was a bitch to install. My Honda minivan is 4 years old and the nuts in the frame are all rusted out."

It was fine

Posted on 11/25/2006 by Greg K. - 2004 Nissan Titan (Yucca Valley,CA)

"I had to redrill the one of the holes for the pin and it also arrived scratched and needed repainting. Neither of these things made me happy but for the price I could live with it. The install took some muscle but in the end it was fine."

Tracker Tow

Posted on 11/07/2006 by Charles W. - 2004 Chevy Tracker (Edmonds,WA)

4 of 4 people found the following review helpful.

"The hitch bar is 3300 lbs and great, even for a 1500 lb capacity Chev Tracker (which is a Suzuki Vitara now). 4 bolts into already configured threaded holes in the undercarriage. Can't be an easier assembly."
