This is a great hitch - and it's an easy install on the Volvo. Bolts on car frame are just fine to use.

Need two people to install. On the journey , it's a little hard to install because the mufflers have to be lowered. Oterwise the product is good.

Reasonable price hitch. I like how fast it came granted that I did not pay for shipping. Only problem with installing it had to do with my Prius, not the hitch itself. Overall, I'm satisfied. I might even buy one for my Mazda 3.

Very neat installation with no drilling or trimming of bumper trim required on some competing brands.I recently saw a 2012 Edge with the hitch installed at the Ford dealer, and my Draw Tite looks more professional.Couldn't ask for more.

Very good quality. Semi easy to install for one person laying on the ground. Had to jack up one side and get the nuts started but that worked ok. Great service from AA.

Reviewed by RICHARD D (New Port Richey, FL) 2009 Hyundai Elantra — Jan 11, 2012 2:34 PM
The hitch appears to offer a good value and was easy to install on a 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring. I had to make a minor adjustment since the hitch would not fit on to the frame rails. After spreading the hitch by holding it in a vise and bending the mounting plates a little( about 1/4in) it fitted really easily. A couple of installation tips. 1) pre-install the 4 mounting bolts in their tapped holes to clear out the paint and undercoating. Just run them in and out. Makes the bolts easier to start when holding the hitch in place. 2) Measure the distance to the outside of the frame rails and compare with the measurement on the hitch to ensure that it will fit. If a bit too tight, bend the hitch brackets a bit. Overall an easy install.

Reviewed by Tyler R (Hanover, MD) 2011 Nissan Murano — Jan 03, 2012 12:24 PM
I read many reviews, and a lot were dated for 2009 Muranos. I have a 2011. It fit the car just right. The instructions call for you to drop the exhaust, but I dont have a lift, or power tools to make that job easy. I read a couple of reviews saying you dont have to drop the exhaust, and it is definitely true. The only challenge is having the hitch twisted in just right, and you may scratch up the exhaust, but just slightly. After about 10-15 minutes of trying to position the hitch in, it went in and we were able to bolt it to the frame of the car. I am very pleased with how the hitch looks and am excited to start using it. The hitch estimates about 45-1 hour of time to install, but that's with a lift, power tools and knowing how to do this. It took me only an hour and 40, from using online tutorial and using hand tools and laying on our backs in the garage installing the hitch. All things considered, this was very easy and I am very happy with the end result.
