Description

With a couple of tons hitched to your backside, stopping can get mighty hairy. On steep grades and level ground, you have to remain in control of your load at all times. Equip your rig with a Hidden Hitch Timed Brake Controller, and you’ll stop sooner, safer and smoother.

Using your Hidden Hitch Timed Brake Controller is a no-brainer. As soon as you start breaking, it immediately springs into action. It engages your trailer’s brakes at a steady pace that grows stronger the longer your foot’s on the pedal. This rate is independent of your brake pedal pressure, so a Hidden Hitch Timed Brake Controller is ideal for light-duty towing.

Under your dash or on your roof, your Hidden Hitch Timed Brake Controller mounts just about anywhere. It’s build with advanced solid-state electronics, so it works flawlessly in any position—horizontal, vertical or even upside down. Pick from 2 models that can control trailers with up to 4 axles. Backed by a 1-year warranty.

no surprises and no complaints. mine came wired with a female plug at the end. i expected a mating tag end male at this price, but none was supplied and not available locally. so i had to hardwire it into the GM harness. the performance is flawless and the unit works well. i intend to order a few more for the rest of the trucks.

I was a bit disappointed that the controller that I ordered was not the same one featured in the picture. I have only made one trip so far and the controller worked as expected. Overall, a good value.

Works fine with my pop up

I have a pop up that weighs a little more than a ton. I am towing with a nissan Frontier. This controller works fine for my situation (I only tow short distances and a few times a year). I would consider an inertia controller for someone that tows often. You can only control how hard the brakes are applied with this controller. An inertia controller lets you also adjust a time delay before the trailer brakes are applied. Overall, this controller is a good value for the price.
