This hitch gets it done at a great price. I used to have a B&W hitch and while it had more adjustments and features, I'm not sure it was worth the $500 premium over this hitch. I hadn't heard of Curt hitches before I bought this one but a little research seemed to indicated it was a good hitch at a great price. It is. I hired out the installation so I can't speak about that. Hooking and unhooking is easy with the handle dropping from up to down when it's done. Easy to see. Good hitch!

I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Extended Cab Pickup truck with a short bed, if I go with the 16k 5th Wheel hitch would it mess up my truck instead of the roller hitch?

It could. your turning radius will be diminished. A friend of mine has the cab scar to prove it. I would recommend a roller hitch for a short box.flag Accept Answer
