    Description

In this day and age, you can either lock it or lose it. Trimax Receiver Locks prevent the “lose it” by protecting your ball mount, bike rack or other hitch-mounted accessories from theft.

Machined from 100% forged steel and a chrome-plated finish, Trimax Receiver Locks offer more than 5800 lbs of head pull strength. And, they feature large 1/2” dual lock lugs that prevent false locking—lock can’t just pop open. A quarter turn of the rugged tube key locks and unlocks the strongest locking pin on the market. Plus, it boasts a water tight cap that seals out dirt and corrosion.

Trimax locks are available in a variety of sizes and styles to fit your receiver hitch. And, each lock includes two keys. What’s more, your Trimax Receiver Lock comes with a limited Lifetime Warranty.

    SERIOUS SAM

Reviewed by Don K (Mesa, AZ) Reviewed for a 2012 Chevy Equinox — Apr 16, 2013 10:43 PM

THE RECIEVER LOCK WORKS WELL AND IS EASY TO INSTALL. IT IS LONGER THAN NECESSARY... I HAVE A 1 1/4 INCH RECIEVER AND THE LOCK PIN IS AN INCH LONGER THAN IT NEEDS TO BE WHICH ALLOWS IT TO MOVE SIDE TO SIDE CONTINUOUSLY WHILE CORNERING W/O A LOAD ON IT. THIS MAY CAUSE ADDITIONAL WEAR ON THE OUTSIDE DIAMETER OF THE PIN AND IT ALLOWS DIRT TO BUILD UP ON THE UNCOVERED PART OF THE PIN IN WET /DIRTY AREAS.

I am pleased with the Trimax locking hitch pin. It is a very strong and secure pin with very little, if any, rattling. Very nice product

I purchased this Trimax Receiver Lock along with a billit hitch plug for my new Expedition King Ranch. The finish and features on this lock are first class and add to the quality look of the whole assembly. It is iasy to install and remove when in the process of thourghly cleaning the vehicle. I would recomend this lock to anyone looking for an attractive addition to thei SUV or Truck.

Received my Trimax Receiver Lock and installed it in seconds. Fit more snugly than my OEM pin, thus reducing rattle. My specific model was the bent-pin lock but all look equally functional. Bonus was that I also have a Trimax cable lock for my cargo divider which is coincidentally keyed alike. If I backed my car into salt water frequently, I might order the stainless steel pin but this is an overall quality piece.

Great security and good looks for a reasonable price. I like the weather protection cover for the lock too. Keys are very durable and leaves no doubt that its locked.

This fit my 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 perfectly. I have a stainless steel hitch step and this keeps me from worrying about it getting stolen in parking lots, etc... It comes with two keys.
