The after market hitch that was part of 2013 Toyota Highlander new car purchase was to low for our standard height utility trailer. We searched for a ball mount that would raise the attachment point 4 to 6 inches and were disappointed with our options until we saw the advertisement for the CURT adjustable ball mount. The ad said the mount could be used to raise and lower the height and included a diagram to illustrate it.
