The easy-to-use design makes it simple to tow anything with a 2” to 71/2” drop or up to a 6 1/4” rise. The CURT Adjustable Ball Mount is packed with class 3 towing force to handle all of your hauling jobs. For the strength and durability you need, your adjustable ball mount is machine welded and CNC formed. With a gross trailer weight (GTW) of 5,000 lbs and a tongue weight (TW) of 500 lbs it goes to work on all of your hauling jobs. Plus, the powder-coated finish keeps your vehicle looking good. The after market hitch that was part of 2013 Toyota Highlander new car purchase was to low for our standard height utility trailer. We searched for a ball mount that would raise the attachment point 4 to 6 inches and were disappointed with our options until we saw the advertisement for the CURT adjustable ball mount. The ad said the mount could be used to raise and lower the height and included a diagram to illustrate it.

Well made, heavy duty from the looks of it. Sticks out a bit further from the receiver than I would like, but otherwise works fine.
