Strap mount is tough and durable. It's high quality and should last for years.

Really built well, solid chunk of steel. Foun the same exact one on amazon for about $20.00 cheaper and auto anything matched the price and beat it by a $1

Put it on my 2010 Z71 Silverado. Solid one piece of steel, not welded together. Shackle/shank are heavy duty too. Hitch will probably pull out before this will fail.

This strap mount is amazing. I just wish they would make one for the new GM Trucks that have a 2 1/2 X 2 1/2 receiver.

When I ordered this mount I expected it to be like a typical tow-hitch ball mount - a piece of hollow, 2-inch square steel channel. Instead it's a solid piece of 2-inch square bar stock with a drilled locking pin hole and another hole for the anchor shackle. It must weigh nearly 10 pounds. I don't know how you could possibly make it any stronger.
