"I bought the hitch alone without any wiring kit as I only plan to use it for installing bike rack. The box arrived very quickly, I noticed a piece of the hitch had come through the box, but the hitch was not scratched or damaged. I installed it by driving up on ramps for the rear wheels to get more clearance. With a son as assistance it took 10 min to install, very easy. I had planned to get the square tube one, but got the circular tube one. I think I wasn't clear when I ordered over the phone. Anyway it fit fine on my standard Pontiac Vibe '09 and I think it looks better. The hitch looks fine, and I have not had any trouble with it scraping the street in hills and bumps."

Hitch

"The hitch I ordered is made very well and was pretty easy to install. My only problem was that mine had been slightly bended causing the holes to not line up. Two of the holes were off by maybe 1/8th of an inch and had to be opened up. Once the holes were opened up the hitch went on in under five minutes very easily"

This IS a solid hitch!

"The install was plain and very simple. The holes lined up as good as could be expected. For you WHINERS out there. The hitch is welded together!!! Welding causes the metal to warp and the holes are not going to be PERFECT! Use an alignment bar to lineup the holes and a couple of clamps to get it right. Assistance is very nice but is not needed IF you have clamps. My install was on a 1990 Suburban and you have to drop the fuel tank out just so you can get the front two bolts in the holes. Make sure that you use the provided carriage bolt washers!! It does not matter if they are bent! they WILL straiten out when you use the impact or torque wrench on them. I am really sick of reading reviews from all you girly men out there!! This is a better hitch than a DRAW-TITE which U-HAUL sells. I almost forgot. Stop worrying about scratches on your pretty little finishes! This is a mans tool and if you are worried about that then you need to go curl up with your mommy and stay out of the real world!"

"the hitch i bought for my 2000 s10 blazer was a piece of cake to install, although directions didn't mention removing existing bolts from frame. the hitch for my 2000 tracker was a little trickier to install i had to ream out the holes on the hitch to make the bolts fit onto the frame rails not a big deal but some extra work. i would recommend to have a set of ratcheting box wrenches on hand."

"Despite the price, this hitch is top notch. The welds are seamless, the powder-coat paint is thick and durable, and the fit is perfect. Installment can be done by one person with a high level of dexterity in about an hour, and with two people it takes about twenty minutes with an impact gun. Con: The directions are not completely clear. You must remove the bumper brackets from the frame, remove the bumper from the brackets, bolt the bumper-hitch-brackets together as one assembly, and then bolt to the frame."

"The hitch itself is a very solid piece that would have worked excellently out of the box had I not done a 3 inch drop. With a slight modification it fit and I'd not hesitate to say it's stronger than the factory bumper."

"Received the hitch within 2 days of ordering. Very prompt! The hitch is strong, robust and very well made. It came with all the required hardware and installation instructions. It was very easy to install (30 mins). I guess you do need a little mechanical knowledge but if you can change a flat tire you can install this hitch! Very satisfied with the product. Autoanything were informative when I called to order and you can't beat their prices! I will be doing buisness with them again....Vince (Quincy MA)"

Good finish, mediocre fit.

"The powder coat finish looks nice but we had to use a pry bar to bend one side in order to line up the holes. It was over one half inch off. If I had to lay on my back in the driveway to install I would have returned it but using a lift made the job easy even considering the minor fit problem."
