"I ordered this hitch for an Oldsmobile Silhoutte minivan. I was leary about using a trailer hitch on a minivan, but to my surprise, not only did it bolt right into place, but it also looks good! 4 bolts to loosen under the frame, and 2 holes to drill (after the hitch is bolted into place). Took me about 1 hours to install, since I am not mechanically inclined. This hitch saved me about $125.00 in installation fees from the local auto repair shop. I use it to pull my fishing boat, have not had any trouble with it."

"Found Autoanything in a Google search. Bought a receiver hitch for my wife's 2009 Dodge Journey. Autoanything offered a great price and free shipping. The hitch arrived on time, as promised. "After ordering, I received the hitch very quickly. The hitch is well constructed and the finish was better than I expected. Followed the the very clear instructions and after removing the bumper bolts, had the hitch installed in less than an hour. Overall, I am very pleased with this CURT Hitch."

"I bougt a hitch for my Kia Sedona. It came with a great set of instructions that said it could be fitted in 15-20 minutes. The instructions were 100% accurate and the fitting took about 15 minutes single haanded. The hitch looks good on the back of the car and has worked perfectly to tow my boat."

Excellent hitch for a Freestyle

"I've installed several hitches over the years, but the Curt Class III hitch for the Freestyle is about the best example I've seen. The powdercoat finish is outstanding, and the fit was perfect. Installation took only about 40 minutes, and the integrated muffler hanger was a real good design. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a relatively hidden and high quality hitch."

"Installed on 2000 VW Passat Wagon. Installation as instructions stated: a little bit of facia trimming and drilled 3 holes (one in spare tire compartment and two in bumper frame). Using the feeder wire to feed the bolt and washer into the bumper frame was a little tricky, but it actually worked, to my amazement. Installed by one person, a 46 year old female. If I can do it, anyone can. It took me a little longer than the instructions said it would take, but this was a first for me and I did not have access to a lift. Nice product."

As easy as pie

"This hitch was incredibly easy to install and I did it alone with just a socket wrench. It was a matter of putting on the box it came in and sliding a 2 x 4 under each side to raise it up enough to get the bolts in. Fit perfectly and it looks great. As a few others noted mine came in with the box torn but the hitch was no worse for wear. Thankfully it only had to travel from GA to FL which only took 2 days. Very fast service!"

Spacers and pre-drilled holes

"The Hitch is very well constructed fit well on the existing frame members. I only had two slight problems. (1) one of the pre-drilled holes needed to be opened to match the existing hole on the truck frame. (2) the spacers included for the bumper reinstallation were approximately 1/2 the required thickness. I had to add two large washers of the approximate thickness to complete the installation (one washer on each side). It required two hours for me to install it by myself. I estimate a one hour installation with two people working together. I am ready to pull!!"

Curt Receiver Hitch is worth it

"I purchased a Curt Receiver Hitch and bike rack for my 2004 Nissan Murano. Of course the bolts on my Murano needed some elbow grease to loosen but once you drop the muffler, attaching the hitch was rather straight forward. Fit is good and looks good. I wish I would have realized that the hitch pin didn't come with either the hitch or the bike rack. Overall a good vale. I don't see how the Curt bike rack will hold four bikes but the hitch is sturdy and fairly easy to put on."

"I purchased a Curt receiver hitch and wiring harness and was very pleased with the purchase. AutoAnything had the best price on the web, and was better yet after the promotional discount. I received it quickly and was very impressed with the quality of the items. The only difficulty that I experienced was my own fault. I knew better, but I attempted the install without clearing the threads of the nuts in the vehicle frame. While this might be fine on a new vehicle, it was foolish on a five year old vehicle. Shame on me! If I had done what I should have it would have been a 30 minute install with no problem. Curt makes a very good product."

"The hitch is of excelllent quality in material, workmanship and finish. My only issue was that I had to use a floor jack to possition the last of 5 pre-drilled wholes so that it matched the truck frame bolt."
