"Installed this hitch on a 2010 Lincoln MKZ. Quality product, nice welds, nice finish. The hitch fits the vehicle perfectly, and the exposed portion is pretty discreet, does not detract from the appearance of the rear of the vehicle. I am a professional mechanic, and it took me about 70 minutes to install with vehicle on a lift. I clamped the hitch to a trans jack to hold it steady while raising it. Would be quite tedious installing it on your back in the driveway. I do not intend to tow with this, only for attaching bike rack. Took a 300-mile trip with bike rack, no problems. Made in USA, Curt gets my vote. Also, thanks AutoAnything for super fast shipping!"

"Ordered the Curt hitch and wiring kit. The directions said it would take 15-20 minutes to install and it did. I have not added anything to a vehicle in a long time, this was easy and stright to the point. A few days later I rented a 5X8 trailer to haul some furniture. The rental guy said the hitch looked great and worked wihtout a hitch..lol Thanks for the help."

So Far So Good

"Have had the Curt Hitch since August, 2009. Mostly for around town bike transportation but just completed 600 mile trip. So far there have been no problems and I believe this well made hitch will be good for the intended purpose. I am planning on ordering another one for my '99 Lexus. Installation was a little more complicated than I had expected. This took about 1 hour and I am fairly handy and tool savvy. There are only 4 bolts holding the hitch to the pre-welded nuts on the inside of the bumper metal but these are large 12mm so they should be adequate."

"It's simple. If you want a hitch that fits, and has a finish that looks fantastic, then Curt is the brand you need. Other finishes will corrode but when you see Curt's powder coated finish you'll say 'now that's a nice hitch'!"

"The installation of this hitch went very smoothly. I used a saber saw with a metal blade to quickly make the slot to insert the backing plates and bolts. This was much easier and faster than using a rotary file. The install was for a new vehicle so I found it easier to simply remove the muffler and get it out of the way. I like both the construction quality of this hitch as well as the looks."

"Carbide drill. Took about 45 minutes to install this hitch on my 2010 Malibu LTZ. Only the reciever shows after installation ang doesn't take anything away form the looks of my car. Towing, I tow a teardrop trailer used for fishing and camping trips, it weighs about 800 lbs and the hitch is perfect for this application."

"Just as what it says on its item description, it perfectly fits on my 2007 rav4. It only took less than 10 mins to install, no sweat. But I only gave it a "Good" remark instead of "excellent" because it trully shows out beneath the bumper. Would have been great if it wasn't visible. But overall it serves the purpose."

"Easy installation, no drilling, fits very nicely. Just needed an extra hand to hold bolts in place while positioning hitch. Very limited area to tighten bolts as well. Looks very nice and is not obtrusive in appearance."
