"The weld nuts on my Toyota were pretty rusted (1996). I had to use a tap set to clear them out enough to get the bolts in. The hitch is beautiful and the instructions very clear. Very nice for a change."

"This hitch is very solid and once installed, works like a champ. The only thing that was a bit of a pain happened during the installation. I was installing it on a 2008 Acura MDX. The instructions said to disconnect the muffler brackets and remove the heat shields, then to bolt it in place. Well, the mufflers are suspended by a piece of rubber and once disconnected, really did not allow the muffler to move or drop. I found that once I removed the heat shields from above one muffler, I was able to squeeze the hitch in and bolt it down.
Very well built. I installed one on my 2009 Jeep Wrangler as well and am very happy with both."

"I recently purchased a 95 Ford Aerostar for utility work around home. I decided to put a Class II receiver on it. I ordered the Curt receiver and was pleased with it immediately. It will handle any job I want to do. The ease of installation was medium, I had to cut two holes to install two of the retainers and the plastic bumper came off easily to give access to the rear mounting holes for the retainer bolts. It is well built."

Hitch for my 2009 Frontier XE

"Fit like a charm, no modification required. East installation took less than 20 minutes, and I'm no mechanic. This you CAN do yourself and save a lot of money over the "professional" installation. All you need is two jack stands, a 5/8" socket and a socket wrench (preferably a torgue wrench, since you're supposed to tighten them to 65 ft/lbs."

"This Curt product is excellent. The craftsmanship is solid, the instructions were easy to follow which made the installation a breeze. I also purchased a curt brake controller which was easy to install based on my factory wiring and their time saving quick plug system. I was extremely pleased by the ease of ordering and the prompt shipping of the product by AutoAnything. I will surely order parts from your business again."

An excellent hitch for our Jeep Liberty

"We have been debating adding a hitch to our 2007 Jeep Liberty for about a year. We sometimes have need of a hitch and yet we did not want to decrease the exit angle for when we head for the wilderness. The hitch is well made, strong, and does not effect the exit angle at all. We had ours put on by a local shop."

Wiring harness instructions are incorrect for 2001 Outback!!

"The hitch installed pretty quickly. The wiring harness instructions are incorrect for the 2001 Subaru Outback. They indicate that the trailer hitch wiring is on the left side. After trying to locate the harness for about 15 minutes and disassembling the entire car, I decided to look on the right. Voila!"

"Excellent product! Installation including wiring was less than one hour. Looks and works great. Only one issue has developed: the muffler rattles on the hitch mounting bolts, which becomes annoying. I'll try cutting off the excess thread to provide more clearance. But I still love this hitch, as this is the only 2" hitch I was able to find for the CR-V."
