"It was easy to put on the car and looks great. We used it to buy a small trailer that we will use for vacations. I have a black car and the hitch matches it perfectly. My husband put it on in just about 30 minutes or less. We have had a good experience with AutoAnything with everything that we have bought from them."

"The Curt Receiving hitch was easy to install. It took me my cousin (with his impact tools) about 20 minutes to install and it fit as advertised. You do not have to lower the muffler. Because of the weight and shape, I would recommend 2 people to install this hitch unless you have a hydralic lift."

"I was debating for a week or so on having someone install a hitch or doing it myself. When i saw the price of the Receiver i decided im gonna try it. It was so easy i had it installed in 15 minutes. Great product. I towed with it the next day!"

"The hitch fit perfectly! It works great, seems very sturdy and is hardly noticeable on the car. The shipping was free and it came in a matter of days and I even ordered it over a holiday weekend. I did call and ask a few questions and the man I spoke to could have been a little nicer, but he did answer my questions."

"I ordered my hitch on a Monday morning, and it was delivered the very next day. Great service! Taking my time, I was able to install the hitch in about 40 minutes using the directions provided. The holes all lined up just fine and the overall quality of the hitch seems to be very good."

"The receiver looks good and is durable. It does however take longer than they say it would to install and there isn't to much clearance for your spare tire but overall it was a good product for the price."

2008 Toyota Sequoia SR5 Curt receiver

"The Curt receiver fits like a charm in my 2008 Toyota Sequouia. The only issue was the first two receivers that I received had an issue. The middle bolt will not go through the middle welded nut (off-center). The third receiver was a charm and it took me 30 minutes to install. Thanks to Nichole Myers of Curt manufacturing technical support group for being patient and listen to what I told her about the problem. She is very good and a good asset to Curt Manufacturing. Again, thanks Nichole for making one of your customer happy and to be able to met customer requirements."

OUCH

"This is a great, well built hitch. But the center bolt did not fit in the center tow hook. I had to drill through the trunk floor pan, the bolt was to long and also grind down (The .250 x1.50 x3.00 square hole spacer) to fit that came with the hitch, bag of bolts. The ball mount is hollow, not solid. I got it on, it took more then 20 mins to install as the instructions stated, for the custom install. The mountain brackets should be around 1 inch shorter, the hitch hangs low. Will bottom out in and out of some driveways."

Inexpensive alternative to the factory hitch

"Hitch installed without a hitch! I simply had to remove one bracket and it installed with 4 bolts - about 15 minutes like others have said - used a floor jack to first hold one side up while bolting up the other. The hitch fits well, seems very solid, is fairly light, doesn't project beyond the bumper, and leaves reasonable ground clearance. Fast shipping - thanks! One caveat - it wasn't packaged too well: the stapled cardboard box had popped open & hitch had fallen out. To UPS's credit, amazingly no scratches on the hitch. Loose parts were taped inside the receiver, so no missing parts."

"Product as promised...great system for installation and a good looking hitch.Helps to have vehicle on a lift and a helper to hold hitch up...would not want to do this on a creeper!Still can't find a T-connector for the lights anywhere..."

"The paint was too thick on my hitch bar; it wouldn't go into the receiver. I called Curt, they said I needed to go through Auto Anything, but I also emailed them and the email person sent me a new hitch bar with thinner paint! Really amazing customer service for the cheapest hitch out there. Also Curt is MADE IN THE USA!"
