"Received it quickly(2 days). Bolt broke off in frame due to rust when removing tow hooks for installation. Not the hitches fault.
autoanything shipped quickly and I got my shipping free and a discount.
Hitch looks good and tows well. I'd do business with autoanything again, that says a LOT. Paul"

"The hitch itself is good but installing it was a hassle. Enlarging the holes in the frame to pass the bolts thru was very difficult. Also if you use a t-connector, the harness is located behind the inside passenger rear quarter panel. Total install time was about three hours. Other than that the hitch looks good."

"The hitch was a perfect fit and installed in no time. The powder coating looks thick and durable. I am impressed. This was one of the better values I have ever gotten for an auto product."

"Great service from AutoAnything, that's why alll three were purchased over the past few months from them.
Curt Hitches:
Mercury Mariner -everything needed was included, relatively easy to install with on minor drilling to enlarge the access hole. less than an hour to install
Cherolet imapala - no drilling fit perfectly about an hour to install.
Toyota Tacoma - welds weren't completely true, category III hitch and the side plate was at just enough angle it wouldn't fit over the frame. Had to use force to get it apart to get it to fit, not an easy thing to do with 1/4 plate steel, average person doesn't have tools on hand to spread welded steel. Took over 3 hours because of this one issue."

How to Improve a Good Product

"Installation of the receiver hitch on my '08 Toyota 4-Runner blocks access to the factory receptacle for the trailer lights. I modified the Toyota bracket to accomodate this. I think Curt should offer a low cost replacement receptacle bracket (basically a straightened Toyota bracket) to simplify the installation of their receiver hitch."

"Installed this hitch on a 2010 Lincoln MKZ. Quality product, nice welds, nice finish. The hitch fits the vehicle perfectly, and the exposed portion is pretty discreet, does not detract from the appearance of the rear of the vehicle. I am a professional mechanic, and it took me about 70 minutes to install with vehicle on a lift. I clamped the hitch to a trans jack to hold it steady while raising it. Would be quite tedious installing it on your back in the driveway. I do not intend to tow with this, only for attaching bike rack. Took a 300-mile trip with bike rack, no problems. Made in USA, Curt gets my vote. Also, thanks AutoAnything for super fast shipping!"
