"This hitch installed without issue. I was able to install it curb side with simple tools. I imagine if I had a lift and air tools this job would have taken 20/30 mins, instead I lost about and hour (only because of some rusted vehicle bolts.) I would definitely recommend Curtis hitches."

My trailor hitch

"I am pleased with my hitch. It works perfect. The only complaint is that when ordering, I asked if it comes with the wiring for the electrical. If it did not, I wanted to order that also. I was informed it came with it and as you can guess, when I got it; no wires. I then, had to find that. Otherwise, I guess all is well. Rodney"

Good so far!

1 of 3 people found the following review helpful.

"I have a 2005 Toyota Highlander. It had a bracket on each side taking up 4 of the 6 holes needed to connect this. I tried to loosen them myself but couldn't. I am a single mom who tries to do things myself whenever possible. So I had to take my car to a shop where they charged me a hour of labor to remove those and install the hitch. Hey the drove me home and picked me up so I figured it was worth it even tho it didn't take them an hour. It looked like the hitch would interfere with my spare tire but it doesn't. I am happy so far. Hope to use if with a bike rack I plan to buy next on from this website."

A nice Hitch, easy to install except the drilling part

Posted on 05/21/2009 by James D. - 2009 Mazda 5 (Pembina,ND)

4 of 7 people found the following review helpful.

"Autoanything shipped the hitch out promptly. Installation is very straight forward, which includes enlarging 2 holes on the metal bumper structure and fixing the hitch to the body frame/bumper structure with 4 bolts. It took me almost an hour to drill the holes -- but I guess I should blame the 1/2" drill bit I bought from Home Depot (the cheapest one). After that it's a 20-minute work. I have put the hitch into any real use yet, but it looks very sturdy and hides nicely under the bumper of my Mazda 5."

Nice Quality Hitch

Posted on 05/21/2009 by Gary P K. - 2007 Honda Odyssey (Madison,WI)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.

"This hitch has a very nice finish that looks like it will not turn to rust like so many hitches do in midwest winters. The receiver is not below the cross bar as in the photo and therefore the whole hitch is visable. They do have a disclaimer stating that the photo may not be of the application ordered. I haven't found any hitches that have hidden application for my vehicle. It appears to be well made and looks better than the competition. Delivery was prompt and sales reps were great. I'm very satisfied with my purchase."
